    CX-22 Trakball Help!

Hello, I am testing on the Atari 7800. I am using centipede for the 2600 in joystick mode. I got both buttons and the up and down functioning perfectly. The only problem is now the side to side movement. The ball rolls great, just no reaction on the screen.
  2. I am officially cleaning up my gaming room. I am selling a Colecovision console, multiple controllers for parts. (At least 5) and a big brick charger and the cord that goes from the TV to the Colecovision. (You will need one of those adapters for the tv that cost a couple of bucks on eBay. I also have an extra circuit board for the Colecovision. Here is the deal with the Colecovision. I bought it at a flea market and it was in a box. I had no clue if it worked. The Colecovision does power on. The screen however is greenish. I have no clue how to fix this so I am giving it up to someone who can. I will consider trades for a 100% functioning cx-22 controller and a few roller ball games or cash offers. I will try to post some pictures. I am fairly new to the AA site so it may take me a little while to get these pictures posted. If not, I can message or email them to you. Please feel free to ask me any questions. Thank you. I did shoot video of the console functioning so you know what you are getting.
  3. Ok, for starters I don't know much about electronics. I ordered this Trakball as untested so I figured I would have issues. As it turns out nothing worked. The buttons, the ball, nada. I took the cover off, cleaned the ball. Took the spinners out and cleaned them and got them spinning good. I took the wires off of the button sensors and hooked everything back up. Plugged it in and now both buttons work perfectly. Up and down is smooth. Left and right movement however is non existent. I switched the rollers around and it remained the same. I am guessing there is either an issue with the black sensor that the wheel spins through or the circuitry coming from it. Any information or tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!
  4. I have Raiders of the Lost Ark in the box. No manual though. Let me know if you are still looking.
  5. If you have one that you are willing to part with let me know. You can inbox me if you prefer. Thanks!
  6. Dauber, if you join highscore .com there is a listing for both versions (US and Japan). Good site to track your scores as well as how you do against others.
  7. Grips, that is a monster score! Mine is just over 100k on us starting at screen 1. Ugh. I got work to do!
  8. Hey all, I'm just curious how everyone is doing with Donkey Kong PK? I played it for the first time Wednesday, and man is it a winner! Tough as can be, but probably one of the best, and frustrating games I've played in a LONG time!
  9. I would like to see what they could do with Popeye.
  10. I started using Highscore.com. I can honestly say that it has put a lot of new life into my old games. Especially 7800 and 2600. The site is easy to use, and adds a bit of competition. (Whether it be with yourself or the other gamers on the site.) I was using a notebook but pages would get torn, it would disappear, etc. At least I know those scores will be out there for a while, as long as the site is up.
  11. Hi Tep, I ordered a ballblazer cart and should have it in a few days. Please, if possible add me to your list for the next batch of Donkey Kong PK carts! Thanks!
