  1. @RacerX Marrs is just a shareholder from the French investing forum. He doesn't work for Atari, he, like myself and many other shareholders just follow all the projects.
  2. I get the humor. :) Trust me, I didn't need to buy in years ago as it has now turned out to be. I could have bought in now. But the last 6 months has brought a great amount of progress if you look. The next 6 months are going to be interesting.
  3. Suit yourself. The info is there. The reasoning and logic is there. "The time of maximum pessimism is the best time to buy"
  4. Only if you aren't paying attention. Read below, watch and listen to the 2 videos. https://www.reddit.com/r/AtariChain/comments/ghppnr/atari_token_info/ Will they pull it off? Who knows. But they are clearly working in the background and taking steps much much bigger than a lot of people think they are.
  5. Everyone agrees with that. Doesn't matter if you are a hater, a backer, a shareholder..... Atari needs to get this out the door!!
  6. Seems like the projects are all starting to come together. They are still well overdue on the VCS, should communicate much better about any delays, updates, etc. I have no doubt whatsoever it is coming though. If you care enough to have an open mind and read, I am keeping a list with much more info here- https://np.reddit.com/r/AtariChain/comments/ghppnr/atari_token_info/ I didn’t put anything there about the new shareholder Rosen, as we don’t know much about him yet- but I expect him to have both input and an impact as he owns a substantial amount of stock with options for more.
  7. Open your mouth insert your foot. Complete with dirty sock. Dewalt, your very first company as an example was bought, sold and merged several times. In fact that proves my point. Your average person doesn’t know who owns or runs any company and doesn’t care anyway. You proved this by not knowing who is ‘wearing the skin’ of Dewalt as you kids like to say. Derp.
  8. Yea man- you believe what you want. One company did everything 45+ years ago...when Atari was a couple guys in a garage. After that I'm pretty sure others were involved. I'll concede not anywhere near as much contract as today's companies do, but that is intentional not just from Atari, but pretty many companies across any sectors. Especially something of this scale, multifaceted. Mobile apps are up- https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.atari.atarimobile https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.atari.crypto.wallet And now Atari partnered with Arkane- https://www.atari.com/atari%EF%B8%8F-teams-up-with-arkane-network-to-integrate-the-atari-token-across-digital-entertainment-ecosystem/
  9. @Paul Slocum “Just pointing out that the Plutonium Pirates game allegedly coming to the VCS was scheduled to have been released in 2018 but has been vaporware so far. The perfect game partner for Atari!” Well none of us know for sure, isn’t it within the realm of possibilities that this was long since planned and agreed-upon? Look close enough at the various different projects and you will see numerous people and companies that cross reference. Call me a dreamer, call me an idiot – but I really feel Atari and others are hiding a lot of things for a lot of reasons, but one of which is waiting for all the projects to come together. They are still behaving in what I would say is immoral and less than ideal ways, but they may literally have the reasons and just not communicating those well. And yes, I am sure they have their fair share of screw ups and failures. If they had said a year or more ago they would wait to release the console, game partners, game plan, waiting until all the partners were ready to go I am sure that would’ve been much better. Problem is, it is hard enough to get a project of any decent scale off the ground, as soon as you add in numerous different companies with numerous different projects under the same umbrella shit goes sideways really really really quickly and quite easily. We know for sure 100% that they plan on having the Atari token project included in the Atari Lands within Animoca’s sandbox game. We know 100% that they want to have the Atari token functional on the Atari VCS. If you look at people involved with those projects, and other companies, this is much bigger than most people are giving it credit for. So yes I am being long-winded,.... but I feel that a Atari can be taken at face value when they say they have things going on that they just can’t release yet. They just are not handling that correctly with how they are letting the public know. And that game? Who doesn’t love a mini-chopper with Gatling guns??
  10. So- the exchange went live today, which means the 10 day countdown should be started.
  11. So they have stated that the 2nd round of the Atari Token will be closed "10 days after the launch of the exchange platform". The exchange platform is www.AtariChange.com which is now shown as Under Construction, Awesome Site in the Making. Given the 3rd round is on the timeline for May, I suppose something is going to happen soon.
  12. There hasn't been 'hard currency gold backed' in just under 50 years. U.S. came off the gold standard in 1971. I'm not a banker, I'm not a cryptocurrency guy- but this will be just like Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc- able to be traded back and forth between them and others as well as back out to real world cash. As for failing in a matter of months? No. https://www.investopedia.com/tech/most-important-cryptocurrencies-other-than-bitcoin/ Among the others, Ethereum is doing just fine at the #2 position, and that makes this relevant- https://medium.com/@t24/anthony-di-iorio-co-founder-of-ethereum-joins-atari-e9f6df4cea2c
  13. BTW- for anyone wondering who the ICICB is- https://icicbancorp.com That is the company who is partnered with Atari for the Atari Token and Atari Casino branch of the tree. So it looks like they are global, and have the backing to put into this.
  14. Now even more interesting. I just received a phone call from the Atari Token team. He said that the licensing is in place through ICICB Group in other countries. He is going to send me more information through my email. I'll keep everyone updated.
  15. You guys are going to love this. Might as well throw it out there and see if they have a response. Note- the date of that site is stated as April 9th, so who knows what paperwork etc may have changed since. https://www.gibraltar.gov.gi/finance-gaming-and-regulations/consumer-advice
