  1. Everyone loves the Commodore 64 SID Chip, but it could be a little less noisy & buzzy couldn't it? There is a supposedly simple fix! But can I do it in 5 minutes?!? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G6o-maxlvhE My video contains no ads. Enjoy! Please also consider subscribing and supporting the channel. 2. I know, let's convert the Commodore Music Maker into a sexy red thing with LED and potentiometers, then use it to record a brand new SID powered track! https://youtu.be/-Z52cvfkUyE (no ads) Thanks!, Starglider aka ԹҽɾíƒɾɑϲԵíϲ's RҽԵɾ๏ RҽϲíԹҽs [emoji973]️ http://youtube.com/perifractic [emoji973]️ http://patreon.com/perifractic

  5. Thank you guys. It's amazing to think that once I was searching for a way to get this working that were people writing ports of it. As stated above it is not the same if it is not the actual game but I will still check them out. I only want to run them on the original Atari 400 machine not an emulator. With that in mind, and pardon my ignorance, but how can I get these files to run? I don't currently have any kind of SD card storage device for the Atari 400 and I'm not sure where to start. This is really the only game I'd like to try that way. Is there a way to get a cartridge SD card device or such like? 6. It is? I'm a perfectionist and I can't tell. Maybe it was the shooting angle. Or maybe I tidied it up later or it got hidden by the rubber grommet. Either way Monk would like it now. 7. I don't I'm afraid. There's a fast forward scrub bar under YouTube to just skip to the build. Thanks!, Starglider aka ԹҽɾíƒɾɑϲԵíϲ's RҽԵɾ๏ RҽϲíԹҽs [emoji973]️ http://youtube.com/perifractic [emoji973]️ http://patreon.com/perifractic
  8. Some people = my parents. At least, that's what my dad came home with. He only wanted the Apple for spreadsheets, and I love it all the same. Thanks!, Starglider aka ԹҽɾíƒɾɑϲԵíϲ's RҽԵɾ๏ RҽϲíԹҽs [emoji973]️ http://youtube.com/perifractic [emoji973]️ http://patreon.com/perifractic
  9. I think I figured out why there is no capacitor kit. Looking at the photographs there is only one capacitor on the main board! There are a few on the power board but I think only four. I have therefore ordered a $10 kit from Amazon that seems to cover all the bases! 10. As above really. Or a list at least?... Is it the same as the 800? Thanks!, Starglider aka ԹҽɾíƒɾɑϲԵíϲ's RҽԵɾ๏ RҽϲíԹҽs [emoji973]️ http://youtube.com/perifractic [emoji973]️ http://patreon.com/perifractic
  11. I read with interest about after market keyboards like this: https://de.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atari_400#/media/Datei%3AAtari_400_Keyboard_Upgrade.jpg So that's what I'm looking for! Thanks!, Starglider [emoji973]️ http://youtube.com/perifractic [emoji973]️ http://patreon.com/perifractic

  14. Can you please help me understand how different settings work for different screen modes. For example I have the following devices connected: SCART: Amiga S-Video: Atari 400 What I want to do is change settings such as resolution, scan lines, sharpness, vertical position, whilst I am looking at the S-Video input, and have them ONLY saved for the S video input. So when I then change to the SCART Amiga input I see the settings specific to that input only, not the settings that I just changed for the S video input. So is there a way to save settings unique to each cable input? And if so how? Thanks!, Starglider [emoji973]️ http://youtube.com/perifractic [emoji973]️ http://patreon.com/perifractic
  15. XRGB Mini green screen emulation? I just got the XRGB Mini hooked up with all my retro computers. The quality is truly amazing as is the scanline emulation. See attached. There's a little lag but you start not to notice. It's less than half a second. Is it possible to set a color Composite source to display only green (or Amber) to emulate a green CRT monitor? E.g. for Apple II or Amstrad? Thanks!, Starglider [emoji973]️ http://youtube.com/perifractic [emoji973]️ http://patreon.com/perifractic
  16. Hi guys, here it is! The video where I attempt to build a cheap, easy, no solder, SEXY, Commodore 64 replacement power supply. I've been excited to share this with my friends here at AtariAge. Please feel free to like, subscribe, and share. Let me know what you think in the YouTube comments. I hope you enjoy it! https://youtu.be/UCdXV0X6wEY Thanks!, Starglider [emoji973]️ http://youtube.com/perifractic [emoji973]️ http://patreon.com/perifractic
  17. If it works like that I'd just leave it like that. No harm. Thanks!, Starglider [emoji973]️ http://youtube.com/perifractic [emoji973]️ http://patreon.com/perifractic
  18. What is your source for the case mount 5 pin din socket with circular surround as pictured? Can't find them anywhere. Thanks!, Starglider [emoji973]️ http://youtube.com/perifractic [emoji973]️ http://patreon.com/perifractic
  19. Thanks. So this cable would give me the composite and audio? https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F311883289519 (I'll also be using Bryan's audio mod.) Who are good suppliers for the correct female DIN to put in the case, along with the outer ring as shown above? Thanks!, Starglider [emoji973]️ http://youtube.com/perifractic [emoji973]️ http://patreon.com/perifractic
  20. Very interesting. It looks good! So what standard cable do you connect to get S-Video or composite? I'm not familiar with 5 pin other than MIDI. Thanks!, Starglider [emoji973]️ http://youtube.com/perifractic [emoji973]️ http://patreon.com/perifractic
  21. Nice. I was thinking of tying a knot inside, myself, or use whatever method the original RF cable used. Maybe even use the original RF cable? I only want composite. Thanks!, Starglider [emoji973]️ http://youtube.com/perifractic [emoji973]️ http://patreon.com/perifractic
  22. Interesting. I have the 400 and my UAV has shipped. I was just going to run the cable out like the original RF cable. But where would you mount the socket you bought? I assume it would involve cutting into the original case. [emoji848] Thanks!, Starglider [emoji973]️ http://youtube.com/perifractic [emoji973]️ http://patreon.com/perifractic
  23. Hmm, just curious, why would you need this for the UAV? Don't you just take the video cable out from the PCB? Thanks!, Starglider [emoji973]️ http://youtube.com/perifractic [emoji973]️ http://patreon.com/perifractic
