    Best Star Wars ever might be stretching it. Second, possibly even third. But it was pretty good nonetheless.

      I liked it, but the sheer stupidity of the movie's version of Star Killer almost kills the movie. The novel handled it much better. Your planet-based super weapon just completely drained its sun? Uh, now what? Never mind the blast traveling across the galaxy where everyone can see it. Ugh.

    Nintendo offered Atari the rights to distribute the NES in America - Atari declined.

      If Atari would have been in a better financial position, the deal isn't something that would have ever come up. It was their bungling of the 5200 and 7800 that opened the door to the deal. Regardless, the arrangement was heavily skewed in favor of Nintendo.

    Heading out to Underground Retrocade in West Dundee, IL this afternoon. I mentioned on Facebook that I was going to attempt the house high on Ms. Pac-Man Turbo and maybe Jr. Pac-Man Turbo, and the owner offered to stream the gameplay. If he does, it'll be at twitch.tv/retrocade.
