Anyone looking to put together a gaming PC? I've lost motivation to do so, and the robot I'm looking to build takes a mini ITX board. eBay auction The Cliff Notes: Pentium 4 550 3.4 GHz Intel D915PBL MoBo Windows XP Pro All new/sealed.
-
Could be worse...you could be bidding with US dollars.
-
Well, that's not the only reason...
-
It was never an actual release, but you can pick up a more or less complete copy from B&C Computervisions.
-
Here's one on eBay right now...
-
Does it work and how much?

For sale: Jaguar Battlesphere & Battlesphere Gold
racerx replied to JagWarlord's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
For what it's worth, I recently bought two seperate lots from him. I got them quickly and he even threw in a free shrinkwrapped game and controller. Not that that has any bearing on your situation, I guess...but just on my dealings I'd recommend them. -
For those who are married..

My wife wouldn't be my wife if she didn't like videogames. She's not hardcore or anything but she'll sit down and play with me unless she's losing too badly. She's fairly tolerant of my little hobbies, though I'm not sure she understands why copies of BattleSphere or Virtual Boy store kiosks cost what they do, or why I get excited about unfinished Jag demos. -
No sweat. Thanks! We probably won't be shipping until Friday as the wife and I are still new to this selling thing and need to get the bubble wrap and shipping prices for the multiple game winners.
-
Just a bump up.. since these will be ending this evening.
-
Or Canada, I suppose...I've never really sent anything internationally and the missus set these auctions up. Does it cost much more to ship up there?

Am I the only one who really liked Defender 2000?
racerx replied to dalton4life's topic in Atari Jaguar
Your ship is just way too big...it throws off the whole balance of the game. Protector is Defender done right. -
Nothing real rare, just selling off some duplicates. My Fleabay auctions

Of course, the fact that it's one of the best games for the system, and the fact that other similar releases from Songbird (or B&C, who simply sell others' work, God bless 'em) are more expensive than the original BS offering, are completely irrelevant, right? While I do consider 600 bucks absurd for any game, the original offering price on the game was certainly more than fair. Pity the big bucks end up in the hands of the speculators and not the developers.
-
As badly as I want one, I just can't justify $600.
-
I'm very interested in either of the BattleSpheres...check your PMs.

Where/how do we get on the list to pick this up? Didn't see any links on the Reversi page...

How Much would you pay for every Virtual Boy Game?
racerx replied to dalton4life's topic in Auction Central
Waterworld, though the rarest US release (Jack Bros. is also scarce) is fairly common compared to the rare Japanese releases. You're thinking of Nester's Funky Bowling, a US release that's fairly uncommon. Virtual Bowling is a seperate Japanese game that's ultra-rare. -
The other Bond is The World is Not Enough. It's pretty good, but it wasn't done by Rare. The game to pick up if you like Goldeneye is Perfect Dark. It even has some of Goldeneye's levels, but the options list for multiplayer is huge. Conker's Bad Fur Day is another quality title.

I've actually seen them go for about $600-700...but still. The VB rarities are a spendy lot. Virtual Lab and Virtual Space Invaders are the other two biggies. -
Easy, but spendy. Check the prices of Virtual Bowling, Virtual Lab, SD Gundam, or Virtual Space Invaders lately?
-
I saw that one earlier...there's no way that guy's ever gonna see that money.
-
Does anyone ever report guys for this junk?

My college GPA would've been much, much higher if not for Blades of Steel and Tecmo Bowl.

How long has your Jaguar passion run? How far has it to go?
racerx replied to justclaws's topic in Atari Jaguar
My wife picked mine up at a Kaybee clearance for $25 in '96 or '97...she had no idea what is was but knew I wanted one. I've been collecting for it off and on and am just now starting to pick up the Songbird and B&C stuff. There are a couple easy games I'm missing (Battlemorph, DD5) but I figure no rush on those. It's fun when someone comes over to our house...I've got a DC, Xbox, Gamecube, N64, and PS2 on one side of the TV and the reaction is usually, "Is that a Jaguar?" when they look on the other side.
