Why would I care what other people own? You are everything that's wrong with discussion on the internet. Arguing semantics to make yourself seem smart when in reality your comment(s) were completely and utterly unnecessary and useless. You mean under 230$ thanks to a 350% price-gouge markup on shipping costs? When you buy an OSSC you can use it with at least a dozen other systems, you do realize this right....? That's fine, made a nice chunk of change off it (didn't like the way the transparent edition ended up looking compared to the mockup anyway), and I'll rebuy it once Kevtris gets off his ass and finally ports the cores... Shouldn't be. Same core architecture. Too bad the guy who programs it refuses to comment on the issue.

So does my modded snes jr, at half the price. Needs NT mini cores or at least ds-1 jailbreak support for the Super NT to be anything really. I can't play games on my Sd2snes?????!!! But I have the HDMI plugged directly into the cart!? MIND BLOWN!!!
-
1) expansion slot for a cd player in 2018, just no 2) 200$ for a plain snes isn't ok...it's pointless with a modded snes jr and ossc for instance. That's why there needs to be a core store or at least a replacement for sd2snes to make it worth it. RGB Genny is 30$, and the 100% flash cart is 50$, not comparable. 3) ossc...

And as for a genesis FPGA, are people ignoring that Kev himself said the 32x and Sega CD aren't doable? You guys want a 200$ plain genesis? Really? You do know they're like 20-30$ with killer RGB?
-
At this point I'm starting to lose respect for Analogue and even Kevtris. So the gameplan all along was to dupe people into buying a 200$ snes that doesn't even do what the SD2SNES can? So the gameplan all along was to ignore 1000s of questions about the NT mini cores being ported and just relegate them to a 1300$ scalper machine? Duping many purchasers along the way? Is somebody else able to port the cores then? Or do we just have to accept this giant middle finger from Analogue? I'm about to sell my super nt, at least it looks like I'll be making a healthy profit!

Ya, what NT mini menu is that? NT mini doesn't support 5200 I thought or am I behind on something? By the way, would love a Super NT menu font that looked like that it's sweet.

It very clearly means "Ninja Turtles", and anyone who thinks differently is just guessing! Seriously though, trying to convince anyone of actual logic in this thread is a fools errand.

It's been 2 days since ship date, let's all lose our shit! Chill folks, they're all in UPS's hands, and they're not exactly known as the fastest shipping company We're arguing the validity of the 32x and it's library now? It's easy, trash hardware, trash software. What we all want is a Sega CD ODE... That's the killer app for a potential MD.
-
Your hallucination is noted.
-
Technically the shipping date was yesterday, I'd give it until Monday to start asking questions. I ordered mine in December and it shipped yesterday. I got a notice emailed from UPS.

ahh that's interesting. Analogue NG looking more and more likely I'd say. moving parts

What if it costs 200$ and plays roms? Like the Super NT? That being said, all signs do point to the next product being a Genesis, one that plays Sega CD and 32x Roms as well. The only killer app for a potential genesis would be an ODE for Sega CD really. Everything else is much cheaper to accomplish already (genesis hardware is cheap with built-in RGB, flash cards are cheap). Will be interesting how they integrate the actual hardware into this equation though (releasing a product with a CD drive in 2018? really?), seeing as they want to be known as playing actual software, first and foremost. Neo Geo would be a lot easier in this regard.

It's not confusing if you realize the Super NT will run all the cores and thus there will be no more NT mini's (makes them obsolete). It's all 100% evidence to support the cores being released. You must not know the definition of the word... You can use evidence to support your theory (they aren't releasing cores for it because....business?), and we'll see who was right in a couple weeks. Kevtris has already said the system won't support any other 16 bit systems, at least anytime soon. But he mysteriously didn't mention it wouldn't support 8 bit systems or snes cores at the same time....hmm, wonder why? Why waste time producing and selling a cheap NT mini when they can just sell more Super NT's by releasing all the same cores for it? Why not just say it won't support them then and then it'll be a surprise when it does? They could prevent all this (if they weren't releasing cores for it), by simply saying they're not. And I don't really care, either I keep my NT mini, Sd2Snes, and modded snes jr, or I keep my Super NT. I play all the same games either way. Would just be nice to have it all-in-one with 1000$ in my pocket. Ebay is easy. 200$ hdmi snes? no thanks. 200$ hdmi snes that plays roms? yes please... You mean like the NT mini? (500$ nintendo that doesn't play roms?) lol. Or a 200$ genesis that doesn't play roms? I'm sure that'll be a great seller too. If they establish a track record with a snes core for the super nt, it'd be pretty obvious why you want an FPGA neo geo or an FPGA genesis with Sega CD support. So much this. Kinda hard to take anyone seriously when they're predicting a Mega Nintendo.

yes youre a liar. post a pic of your two nt minis and 3 framemeisters. prove me wrong.
-
Exactly its not like hes being a dick to sell more units. He already confirmed there wont be genesis or tg16 cores, so no reason not to mention no snes or nt mini cores at the same time. Its definitely the way to do it, you dont wanna advertise the product as pushing rom usage out of the box, or have to offer core tech support. Even if its legal its still grey area in a lot of areas globally.
