  1. As Kevtris has said there is a reason they call it hard ware. Yes, with the right team/talent it can be done, but anything related to INTV at this point should be met with an ample supply skepticism. I can see them releasing a simple plug n play software emulator device over something more complicated like an FPGA console with cart support.
  2. True, but the Phoneix launched with some serious issues. I remember syncing to televisions was a big one. They had to issue a new rev to fix the issue, but I'm not sure how successful that product was for them. They only released like 2 or 3 batches. So, just an example of how hard it is to make FPGA consoles vs some simple plug n play software emulator device.
  3. Shoot, I'd be interested in an FPGA INTV console with cart support, but do I believe BBG is going to suddenly pump out a high quality FPGA console anytime soon, nope. They sell generic software digitally, what do they know about making hardware?
  4. I'm already getting huge Mike Kennedy vibes from this guy, just waiting for him to announce his "highly skilled" lead designer who posts a video of them awkwardly trying to demonstrate their "expertise" in hardware design.
  5. When will people learn to stop announcing stuff so early? It's like this guy didn't learn a damn thing after watching the Amico trainwreck for the last 5 yrs. Already off to a bad start. I swear it is like the INTV brand is cursed at this point.
  6. LOL, "I was with my family, so no time to play." Did he not even consider how that would look while he was writing that? No self awareness at all.
  7. I still find it interesting how so many members who frequently engaged in the "Happy Fun Times" Amico thread and trashed skeptics with any reasonable takes have gone MIA from this forum. I find it very cowardly that these people couldn't just admit they were wrong for going to bat for Tommy and trying to dismiss our critiques.
  8. Yeah, sounds like a busted SD Card slot. Only other thing I can think off is unplug the Mega SG entirely and reconnect the power and see what happens with the SD Card inserted. What is the size of your SD Card? If its bigger than 32GB then you need to use a formatter tool like https://fat32-format.en.softonic.com/ Format using that tool and if it still doesn't work then try to contact Analogue and tell them you are having issues with your SD Card slot.
  9. One last thing, do you have something inserted in the MegaSG cart slot when you try to update firmware? Try to remove the cart and try again.
  10. Well make a save and if the SD Card creates a save you'll know the slot is fine. Show me a pic of your SD Card file structure.
  11. Do you have it on root of sd card and unzipped? Try a different freshly formatted SD Card. If you have two firmware files on your card that is the problem. You have to delete the old firmware bin file.
  12. That cornhole gameplay footage from MM was honestly worse than I thought it would be and I had low expectations. Horrific animations and physics system.
  13. "Amico games can not be properly played on other systems! It's simply not possible with how the games interact with the Amico system/controller." Things that aged like milk for $1000, Alex.
  14. Your back and forth with Francois at the Amico facebook group is very entertaining. The way he tried to spin this around as something incredibly positive and then brining up people who clearly are no longer actively working on the project was amusing.
  15. That is about as close as we will get to them admitting hardware is not their #1 priority anymore. Yeah they later say that is still in their plans, but we know that is code for not happening, especially if software sales on other platforms end up disappointing. Which I think will likely be the case considering the games they have shown so far.
  16. I know you didn't ask me, but I would 100% buy this theoretical system and pay up to $349.99 for it.
  17. What is wrong with your Dock? Make sure its on the latest firmware and it should work fine. No problems here.
  18. Here you go. https://www.ebay.com/itm/374225380585
  19. The Pocket is "jailbroken", just using OpenFPGA as the Jailbreak. It was a clever move to be honest. The only thing OpenFPGA is missing are the video modes.
  20. Yeah, I think it's likely a bios issue. Unibios 4.0 is likely going to solve your issues.
  21. Neo Drift Out and Overtop works just fine for me, sounds like something is wrong with your setup. I recommend you use UniBios. Also, make sure you are on latest Neo-Geo core release and Pocket firmware.
