  1. Unfortunately, the core store is most likely going to be a NT Mini exclusive feature. Adding cores to JB software on other Analogue consoles would pretty much confirm who is behind the JB firmware and since said person is now an employee at Analogue I doubt he will risk doing that. $250 Neo-Geo FPGA console is well worth the price just to play Neo-Geo games on an HDTV.
  2. Also, I don't know if Analogue would ever consider doing a 7800/2600 system, but they could probably crank one out for a solid price. They could use a much cheaper FPGA and less ram to keep costs down and of course the plastic case would help in that regard as well. Kevtris already has both those cores at the ready, so all the major R&D has been finished. Just have to layout a PCB, design the shell and come up with a price that people would be willing to pay for such a system. Don't know if its possible, but if they could hit a $99.99 price point I think it might do decent enough. It will give more people access to those cores who aren't willing to spend $450+ for the NT Mini. plus people could actually use OG controllers or even Sega Genesis controllers. P.S. I'm just talking out loud and thinking about the future after Analogue gives us Genesis, Neo-Geo and possibly TG-16. You know, where do they go from there? The Super NT has made me so excited for whats coming up next. Everytime I play the thing it gets me giddy thinking about how I might get a similar experience with Genesis games in a not too distant future.
  3. Does anyone see any reason why Analogue would even consider making FPGA Handheld clones? I mean the Analogue NT, NT Mini and Super NT offered obvious advantages over stock original hardware for use on an HDTV. I guess the only thing that would make sense would be to consolize those handhelds to play on an HDTV, specifically the GBA. I mean there are millions of perfectly working Gameboy handhelds in the wild for handheld use, so I really don't a reason why Analogue would actually come out with their own handheld clones.
  4. +1149 height should not crop unless your TV has overscan enabled. See if you can turn it off via your TVs settings.
  5. Don't know whether this is a bug/glitch or not. While playing the Kirby Super Star's Megaton Punch mini game, during the scene that shows your Max Megaton Punch score the purple background will flash randomly. I'm am running the Super Famicom cart. Here's a video I shot to show what I'm talking about. I mean it obviously isn't a game breaking bug or anything, but I thought you'd might like to know anyways. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qo4Dyr-8c6w&feature=youtu.be
  6. That's freaking awesome man!!! Congrats. If you need some video settings advice check out this link. https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/tcl/s-series-4k-2017-s405/settings
  7. Yeah it wants to send me a code via message to confirm. Lame, is that where you got that incompatibility list?
  8. Did everyone else have to verify by phone to get Discord to work?
  9. So is Rendering Ranger 2 basically the only confirmed game left that straight up won't run? Well, I mean past the intro logo.
  10. I use an SD2SNES, so when do I actually put in cheat codes? After I load the game rom? Also, I highly suggest you tell Analogue to promote the cheat code feature. I think many people who have yet to buy a Super NT would like the idea of a built in game genie.
  11. Damn, and 4.3 was already very good. This basically fixes the last issue I've encountered (Samurai Showdown). Compatibility at this point has to be pretty freaking legit.
  12. Having a built in game genie is going to be sweet.
  13. How cute, you think you leaving is relevant enough to tell others.
  14. LOL, like I said, its just very contradictive to see someone so knowledgable on the subject not willing to spend $300 on a TV that would be a night and day improvement over what he currently owns, yet is willing to pay $200+ for an HDMI Snes Clone. I just find it curious. Usually the ones with the most knowledge have at least semi decent equipment as their main displays. I mean, I guess you at least have a relatively decent 1080p PC monitor. You owe it to yourself to experience the Super NT in the best possible way and it won't cost you all that much. Its not like I'm telling you that you need to spend $1500 on an OLED display or something lol. No excuses to be Mr. Cheapo. https://www.bestbuy.com/site/tcl-49-class-48-5-diag--led-2160p-smart-4k-ultra-hd-tv-roku-tv/5878701.p?skuId=5878701 BTW, don't take my comments so personally, I'm just messing with you a bit. If you want to rock on a 10 yr old 26" Sanyo, have at it lol. At least you are playing on a Super NT and not one of those garbage clones from other companies.
  15. Well, it is pretty funny that your PC Monitor is better than your main TV and most likely a lot better.
  16. For someone who knows so much about the technical aspect of things, I'm still so surprised you are perfectly happy playing on an old 10 yr old 26" Sanyo LCD. It just seems contradictive. BTW, my 50" 1080p Plasma doesn't have over scan and perfectly outputs full range RGB. Also, the input lag is low enough where I can beat Mike Tyson via my AVS which only outputs 720p mind you.
  17. Smooth, WaveBeam and CXA2025AS are my personal favorites. I still can't choose which one I like best. I think the Sony palette would come closest to how a real NES looks on my Sony CRT if the saturation was turned down some, but all three are fantastic. I'm currently using your Unsaturated 6 Palette on my AVS and it gives good results, but I know it has since been improved with later revisions.
  18. This just came in. Can't wait to play Super Bomberman via the Super NT on a nice big screen. Anyone have a favorite Super Bomberman for multiplayer?
  19. I'd be more worried about those Chinese repro boards damaging the cart slot. They are usually very thick and not beveled.
  20. I just wished Bunnyboy would consider making a upgraded AVS down the road with 1080p support and some features found in the Analogue NT Mini like the ability to load your own palettes.
  21. I know Kevtris has been working on a bunch of stuff lately, but did he ever address the Samurai Showdown issue and why it freezes like 50% of the time during the animated intro? Also, why that issue doesn't seem to happen in 720p? Sorry, this thread moves at such a rapid rate I might have missed Kevtris comments addressing this issue. Thanks.
  22. Yes, just install one of these. https://www.ebay.com/itm/291953521907
