Thanks. I'm a new 7800 owner as well, but so far I've had exactly what you describe happen to me only when the cartridge is not fully inserted. I have noticed that 2600 cartridges are a very tight fit in my 7800; you really need to jam them in there to get them to work. Hmm, I will make sure there in nice and tight! Thanks for the suggestion

I just bought a 7800 off of ebay, and the system plays the 7800 games without a problem. But once I try any 2600 game I have, I get a humming noise, as well as the screen does not look aligned correctly. The RF unit is from radioshack, but if this was the problem, wouldn't I get the same results from the 7800 games? Any Comments would be appreciated. Thanks.
