Pretty Sweet huh?  It's still fairly new.  I hope everyone will keep checking them out,  so it'd be more like the old days where ya never knew who was gonna be commenting.

      Better believe it, baby!

Let's hope that they stick around this time and that a minority of abusers don't convince the owner to ruin it for the rest of us who appreciate them.

  2. Oooh site update!

  3. I could have a life with a meaningful purpose but instead I'm learning 6502 Assembly, and it's a lot more fun.

That’s a great outlook to have on life, cheers!

  4. I think I just discovered my new favourite tuning temperament.
Le Tempérament égal à quintes justes.
The notes have a really good resonance together, it's really something pleasant to the ear.

  5. The answer is A-4 = 444.895778867903Hz. Just trust me on this one.

  6. I have a lot of NES tunes I didn't fully finish composing because I suck at finishing stuff, pickle brain moments

right?!? I'm a 'newbie' in relation to a lot of folks, but I've been here five years and searing my retinas until like a month ago.  :D

At first I thought this "dark mode" thing was yet another tech fad, but it's actually more relaxing on my eyes when using my PC.  Especially for gaming...

I switch to light mode on Windows when I have to do some "work" like checkbook balancing, which helps me stay more focused.

  8. There was a break statement I missed earlier and that made me realise how much potential for things involving intentionally leaking into a different case, and even land in a goto could turn a bug into a feature, difference being one is accidental and the other is done on purpose.

  9. Look what i just received in the mail!

Oh, man!  That's almost as good as a letter from the clinic saying everything's cleared up again! :-D

      Yes, I'm jealous.

  10. When your .exe works fine in different setups, but for some reason saving files would skip the first byte each time, but never on the "target" OS, so debugging this will be fun... lol

No reason, it's a file I have been using in a project for a very specific purpose ?

  12. Man, that was a lot of steps to get Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2002 to install and run...
But at least I was able to build some stuff now.

@atari2600land haha nope! Only bananas :D

I was actually very tempted to add chocolate chips but changed my mind last minute.

Personally I think nuts ruin it.  My aunt used to make some great breads, i.e. Zucchini bread, but then she'd throw nuts in there and every once in a while I'd hit a straight up Jawbreaker (like where some of the hard shell passed through QA undetected heh).  Made me weary of the whole loaf.

    4. Atarian7

      Atarian7

Nuts would ruin it for me because I am allergic to most nuts.

  14. tfw I'm literally reverse engineering stuff out of nowhere while I simply was looking for a memory address

  17. Cleaned up all the inside of the 800 I recieved earlier today, and only the superficial exterior for now since I want to test it before scrubbing for nothing, it was in really good condition honestly.
For now, here's a family photo of my 800xl's and the (mostly) clean 800 :D

  20. Today's lesson: Laziness isn't always the quickest long term option.
Running stuff in WINE from a easy to use .exe vs troubleshooting the same program on Linux to make it work, about 10 minutes to figure it out.
And now that same program runs like 10x faster than it was in WINE?

  21. Note to myself, don't attempt to DEC a 0?unknown.png

  22. Display Lists are nice now that they start making sense.

  23. I just killed both my ears and my heart from forgetting to pull from stack
note to myself: experimental changes that can break everything must be tested at low volume

^Though that's probably more of a callback to the Coke can rather than the audio experiments.

I knew this was a reference to that one lol
Thankfully no other can had resisted me this much since.

  24. I fought with a can of coke, and it almost won against me.
