You can buy a fully populated NOS 4-switch board from Best Electronics: http://www.best-electronics-ca.com/ for $35.00. I don't know if that is what you would consider cheap, but it's NOS.

I'm not sure Flash Gordon is what I would consider "common"...
-
well you would need the difficulty switches for games like Space Shuttle and Ghostbusters...

Not the picture, in the video, the guy never turns the FB2 on.
-
Why didn't he turn it on?

I haven't tested this theory, but I believe my HDTV doesn't like certain titles, like Tac-Scan. I really have to cross my fingers for it not to roll, Starmaster does it too and Realsports Volleyball, which I KNOW used to work on my old tv at my parents. Though I was using a Coleco Gemini back then. Does anyone know if the Gemini used a significantly different method of handling the video that would impact this? I should try these games on a tube TV when I get home...

Count me in and ready to go, as soon as I get the things printed! And I call Dig Dug.

Any word on when the next batch of populated boards will go out?

What have you actually PLAYED? Weekly Top Ten for 2009
Fangorn81 replied to cvga's topic in Atari 2600
I played all yesterday morning with my brother. We mostly played Jungle Hunt, H.E.R.O. and Seaquest. It was just like we were kids again, trying to beat each others scores. Haven't played Atari for that long in a while. -
well, if you design a standard atari cart label, we already have found a place to get them printed. It is about $3 per sheet of 4 labels.
-
Yes definitely!
-
No. People on ebay can do really dumb stuff.
-
Ok, my label is done! I found out that it is $2.00 a sheet for printing and $1.25 a sheet for the paper from 8bitclassics.com. There are 4 label sets per sheet, so it's pretty reasonable, and the labels are supposed to look good. It comes out to $0.81 per label, before shipping. Now all I need to know is how many I need to print? 10? 20?

I mean a lot of 9-pin controllers are out there that work with the Atari that weren't made for it. Also, most accessories are probably in the 1-5 out of 10 scale.
-
I don't believe so. But, I would be interested in a rarity scale for accessories also. Has anyone tried this or thought about it?
