Just got one Buy It Now for $30. (eBay)
-
haha looks like everybody wants to do more than one. Maybe we could do 2 each?
-
I agree... Here's a sneak peek of my work in progress...
-
Just thought of a cool idea for Casino too!

Should we all claim a game so no one does the same title? I have a design for Dig Dug. I know it is R2 but that is still pretty common.
-
I have never ordered from them, but www.8bitclassics.com can print labels specifically for Atari carts.
-
I'm interested but not sure I have the capacity to print out quality labels... Maybe we could all get them made by 8bitclassics? But, then they would have to be standard cart games...

This is the design I came up with to solve my crisis of not having enough storage, and not wanting to pay shipping for mismatched old stuff available. I am in the process of building it now. Will post a pic of the real thing when it's done.

Just a note: There are 5 Dactar 4-in-1 carts on ebay as I write this. None of them are the cart in question, but still worth a mention...

That's what she said.

I just got my 10 games in the mail today!! They are in great shape and got here FAST! This guy is like lightning! Awesome.

Just picked one up on eBay! $30 may be a bit too much for one, but it looks to be in great shape and comes with the Stella Gets a New Brain CD. If you break it down it's only $2.50 a game. I can live with that! Now about getting those games on vinyl...

I don't think it would be very difficult to make it so you would be able to plug the modules into either side...theoretically of course! And that RF transmitter looks very promising. I'll have to read more in detail when I get off work.

I figured it out.

From the album: Modular Atari 2600 Controller/Joystick
-
That's too bad. I have been working on another idea for a 2600 joystick also. Sort of a more functional modern update that still has a 60's/70's aesthetic. Of course, I have no way of manufacturing them, and there probably isn't enough of a market: My Modular Joystick Design This is a link to Flickr. I don't remember how to post images in the post. Oh, and that's not an antenna in those picks, it's the cord...this one's not a wireless idea.

Ha! duh! I forgot that on these new mac keyboards, you have to hold the Fn key to use the function keys!!! It just keeps adjusting the brightness on my monitor otherwise. Man I feel stupid. Thanks though!

I don't know if this has already been brought up, but I am trying to run this .BIN file with StellaOSX and it is unplayable. What I mean by that is, I can see the game, but Pac-Man is moving around on his own, there are no sounds, and the score stays at zero... Am I missing something? I have run plenty of ROM's and WIP homebrews on it and never had this happen. I assumed it was just a demo to prove the graphics, etc...but everyone else seems to be commenting on the game as if they are playing it. Help!?
-
Forget the sprites...they look fine, any new developments on having any sounds? I want this on a cartridge, I may hold off on buying Pac-Man Arcade now!
-
Very Nice!! Though the sound when you hit the wall is a bit grating. I still want to buy this on a real cartridge! Do you need some artwork?
