Hi, I use a krokodile cart for my games. I have been using it a bunch lately, and i have a question about replacing/modding the unit. Ive already upgraded the video card & simulated stereo sound with svideo and stereo rca, that was an easy mod. Looks and plays great on my plasma. My main concern is that i am worried that my on/off switch will go bad. Has anyone bypassed the on/off witch with a softer toggle/ momentary switch. The original switches are soo 'hard' for the lack of better term. TIA

I had always wanted to add a gui front end wrapper to Darrell's (Aka Spiceware) KrokCom for the Mac. Maybe Ill get enough time since the summer is over. Especially if we get a Universal or Intel binary

Yeah i didnt know Snow Leopard could run Power PC apps. I also didnt realize you could install support for rosetta with the custom install option for Snow. Anyhows, it appear to run under rosetta, but if you could still compile out an Intel binary, it would be great. Hate to say , but it appears Apples is EOL PowerPC stuff.

Ive got Snow Leopard and just realized krokcom is a powerpc binary. Any chances of getting a Universal Binary so it will work with Snow Leopard?

Busted mine out about 3 months ago. My young kids like to play. Just need another Wico stick! Put on the list. I'll buy one Kind of sad....4.5 years later I actual start using my Kroko Cart. I finally dug out my Atari from Storage, as I hadn't seen it since I moved to PHX from Los Angeles

What are you having issues with ? Btw Spice, I've got the current seed and have Snow leopard installed. I just have to get the USB drivers for my Keyspan adapter installed..
