  1. It's far from scientific. Enough that it's effective, not so much that the water is too cloudy to let light through. One good sized scoop for every couple gallons of water, I guess. I never really measure anything. You can also use liquid developer from a hair care store. Submerge it in the developer completely and hit it with the UV lights.
  2. Grabbed this turd for $25. Don't currently have any games, so don't know if it works.
  3. It ain't a video game, but this just showed up from Japan...
  4. Just be patient. Set up eBay alerts so you know when new items are posted. Don't forget that PayPal does "pay in 4", if you need to break up some of the more expensive games into easier to manage payments. Games like tank comment, you're just going to have to accept that you won't get a deal and will have to dish out a few bucks. Sooner or later, a buy it now listing will pop up and you won't have to worry about being outbid. In the Grand scheme of things, the 7800 is a very doable and still fairly affordable library to complete, compared to most other consoles.
  5. Similar pair to these that a bought years ago 2 Pack 60W UV Flood Light, IP66 Waterproof Outdoor High Power UV Black Lights with UL Plug (3.3ft Cable), 395nm-405nm Blacklight for Glow Party, Stage, UV Glue Resin Curing Paint, Collection https://a.co/d/0j0U1cn
  6. Some of my personal favorites: Ninja Golf Alien Brigade Fatal Run Commando Ikari Warriors Dark Chambers Xenophobe I usually don't include games like Ms Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, Asteroids and other arcade "classics" in best of lists for the system. While most of them are good ports, none of them are the definitive version of their respective game and there's dozens, if not hundreds of other ways to play them.
  7. It's an adequate 8 bit golf game. Nothing especially ground breaking, but decent.
  8. I would doubt they do. This isn't the OG Atari, with a vault full of original cartridges. Ballblazer is easy to find and test. Commando much less easy and cheap...
  9. Just finished up this 65xe using a little oxyclean in water and a couple uv led lights. Imo, you don't need to go crazy with super concentrated peroxide solutions as long as you have a good light source.
  10. I imagine naptha would be pretty effective at loosening up any tape or glue holding the badge on.
  11. $18+$50 shipping. The shipping hurt, but it was still a deal. It was even packaged properly, which was a nice change of pace.
  12. Threw out a low bid on this Apple IIe monitor and somehow managed to win it. And it actually arrived unbroken.
  13. It's the FDS version of Little Computer People, a pretty cool Sims-like early 80s pc game.
  14. Dark Chambers on the 7800 is probably my favorite game for the system. It's worth grabbing a loose cart just to play.
  15. Yes and yes. I'm waiting on an adapter for the disk II, since the control card the computer came with is a 19 connection and the disk drive has a 20 pin connection. I actually discovered ascii express earlier in the week and have been playing some games. You're right, that is pretty nifty.
