  1. Yeah, I really like the look of the twin. They're fairly cheap too, if you're willing to fix the belt.
  2. This book comes in handy for figuring out which games can be played without knowing Japanese.
  3. I don't have a huge collection, but it is one if my favorite systems to collect for.
  4. Yeah, that Keith Courage game is a turd. Got tired of it in about ten minutes. LAII is really fun though.
  5. Dude had several famicom and super famicom games as well. First time seeing that in the wild
  6. I had a max that I modified with a 360 analog stick and never really liked the way it played. While making the flea market rounds today, I found a 3rd party SNES controller for a buck. Yadda yadda yadda...
  7. Great work! I did the same to mine using 1000, 1500 grit paper and fine steel wool. The strip is pretty soft stuff and it doesn't take muck work to get the scratches out. I think you could get a mirror fairly easily, if you wanted that look.
  8. I have one of these. 40 bucks is overpriced for an off brand NES controller, modded for the CV, but they work well and are lightyears better than the stock CV controller. The drawback is you can only use certain keypad functions. You can also mod a genesis controller to do the same thing. My go to is the above controller with a Y cable to use the stock controllers keypad.
  9. I have the BLW as well. It does what it says it does. I haven't had an issue with a clean game not working. Their customer service is complete garbage, however.
  10. Not too many tile games, but a good many rpg's, which don't do me any good since I can't read Japanese. There are some gems in there and several games that I have no clue what they are, but seem like fun, playable games, which is what I was hoping to find.
  11. Yeah, the button layout on this is... different.
  12. Just picked this up today myself. Pretty nice package for ten bucks.
  13. The thing I had to think about is how far I want to go with this thing. At some point, it ceases to be an A1up and becomes an entirely new cabinet and I spent several hundred dollars for nothing. I wanted to get this as close to a cabaret as possible, without adding major costs.
  14. Here's mine after painting the center section. I had some streaking as well. I think it's a result of using too strong a peroxide.
