  1. Sounds like it needs a tune up. You tried cleaning/lubricating the rollers?
  2. Meh. Everything is terrible with the 7800 stick. I'd look into the seagull 78 for the sms trackball.
  3. Regular. Ballblazer worked fine too. Although i did try asteroids after reading this post and it did the same thing as it did for you. For shits and giggles, i tried it with edladdins 78 adapter and it worked fine with it.
  4. What did you hack? I just played Centipede with the sms track ball a few nights ago and it worked fine.
  5. Decided to take an updated pic. Didn't realize how much my collection has grown in a short time until I revisited this post...
  6. I've bought a handful of repros from aliexpress. For the most part, they've been decent, although I have had a few that were non working upon arrival and aliexpress isn't nearly as willing to issue a refund as ebay is. Just understand the chance you're taking when ordering a $4 game from china.
  7. https://www.ebay.com/itm/GC-Electronics-High-Power-Degaussing-Coil-Model-9317/183382898591?epid=1272136613&hash=item2ab278f79f:g:sj4AAOSwsvZbdcaq
  8. Usually, you can find used wands on eBay for under 30 bucks.
  9. I was just thinking after reading this that neither of my 3 button controllers looked like the one in the video. Everything was smaller, with a multi wire plug on the back of the board for the wires from the cord. You were able to make it work? I didn't think these wouldbe a candidate because of how small the components on the board were.
  10. I like the fact that they have, for the most part, proper control panels with track balls and spinners for the games that use them. On the other hand, I hate the fact that if you're taller than 4'2", you're going to be uncomfortable playing these.
  11. Bought a cheap, "untested" module 2 for the colecovision with the expectation that "untested" meant broken. But, to my surprise, it works perfectly.
  12. No more yanking cables out to switch consoles...
  13. I wonder if that was the box you got when you ordered from sears or the like.
  14. Here's the stuff i soaked it in
  15. The clear liquid version of that stuff is what i used. I've found that if you submerge it in the liquid developer as opposed to brushing the thicker stuff on, you don't get any discoloration/uneveness from the cling wrap touching the plastic.
  16. Just straight developer from a beauty supply store, half 40 volumeand half 20. All the other ingredients I've seen mentioned for retro bright seem to be completely unnecessary.
  17. Agreed. That's actually why I bought it over an SNES.
