I know using peroxide to remove yellowing is old news at this point, but I thought this is pretty telling of what actually could be done with it. This console was the worst I've ever seen and I was amazed at just how well it turned out. I used clear liquid developer, completely submerged the casing in the sun for a day. Before and after: I did end up getting some minor burning on the dark gray area, I guess from leaving it in too long and decided to paint it since there was no text that would be covered.

I put a Spin Trak in my Mad Planets build and love. Works really well.

You sure it's not from the famicom smoking? I'd already have it out sitting in the sun in a pan of peroxide if it weren't for Nintendo's stupid security screws.

Picked up a dirt cheap, turd tinted super fc today.

Probably a store that shut down long before the internet was even a thing. -
I have a Flashback 8 Gold. It's decent. Not all AT Games products are garbage. Don't believe the hype...

Been wanting to play this one for a while. Unfortunately, it's a repro. Brutally hard game with what has to be the best graphics on an 8 bit system that I've seen.

Meh. They both paled in comparison to the Vectrex.

I swore I'd never step foot in that place, but those are cool. How big are they? Are they backlit?

Not sure what the innards of that machine originally were, but I've seen this more and more in "barcades" and the like. As these machines are breaking down, I guess it's easier to just insert a PC/raspberry PI/60 in 1 as opposed to actually fixing the board.

Awesome. I just got one myself recently. Refurbished?

Added some tinted glass.

Thanks. Unfortunately I've got some work to do. As of now, it plays blind. And of course, it needs a belt.

Due to an illness, our vacation got sidetracked in Juneau Alaska for a couple days. Turns out, our hotel is beside the only retro game shop in town, so of course i picked up a few games...

5 Game Sequels BETTER than the Originals

Not sure if this is considered a direct sequel, but the first thing that comes to mind is life force. Always enjoyed it so much more than Gradius. -
I never saw one in the day either, this was actually my first time playing it. It's really a great, unique game.

Had some time recently to work on this. I got the remaining parts needed to get it up and running, including the jrok board. It's now a working mad planets. I just need a piece of tinted plexi and tdonthe artwork and it'll be done. The 35 year old monitor looks surprisingly good. I've ordered the parts to rebuild it just to be safe.
