Sounds like you have a cheap, aftermarket 72 on connector

I have it. It's the version with NES games as well, which is what I'd recommend. It's decent overall, Has a mix of SMS and Gamegear games. The save states work fine. The Gamegrear games do add a border, which makes the playable section of the screen smaller and harder to see.

Imo, the seagull78 and a genesis controller are the way to go if looking for an aftermarket option. The retrogamerboyz controllers are ok, but to me, still feel like a $5 nes clone(which is what they are), with mushy buttons and cheap plastic. I think I'd be more favorable if they weren't 40 bucks.

I put a piece of tinted plexiglass in mine. The tint also helped with some ghosting i was getting while playing 3d games

I have the SN30 Pro+ and its probably the best 3rd party controller I own.

I believe this is normal. I ordered the 3d viewer from him and it actually took so long, I forgot I ordered it. No order or shipping confirmations.

Excellent info, thank you both.
I have read the horror stories of the power supplies frying computers. I've already got a new unit ordered.
I'll look into the SD2IEC.

A Commodore 64 with 1541 floppy drive, to be exact. Now, I've never owned an 8 bit. My first PC ran on Windows 98. I've never used Basic.
So, where's a good place to start? I don't need to be an expert with it. It's main use will be gaming, but I'd still like to have an idea of what I'm doing.
Any decent tutorials out there for idiots like me?

It's a drop target game with 4 flippers. The 4 flippers give you absolute control of the ball, so it rewards good ball handling and punishes random flipping (balls falling between flippers, etc). The main criticism you see online is the lack of sound board (it's a chime game) and the fact that it plays like an EM game despite being a System 1 solid state game. IMO it's probably the best System 1 Gottlieb title.
I see Sinbad pop up for sale locally pretty often and it's usually pretty cheap. I may have to consider picking one up.

Actually, I did. No one else on the house will play, unfortunately.
