I have a back log of consoles i need to recap. I just finished a Sega cd model 1 and really need to do my vectrex before something bad happens there. After that, I have an arcade cabinet that needs the crt recapped. And...I also need to do that xbox click cap.

I remember there being more negativity for the GameCube than the xbox. The GC was regarded as the weaker system. To quote the xbox sales ad: "one is the most powerful gaming system on the planet. The other is purple and has a handle." Personally, I think the xbox has held up extremely well. It's still a fun system, with a great library.

Do pinball parts count?

I've bought a few here and there for various systems, for games that are just absurdly expensive. Physically, they're not as nice as the originals. The plastic is cheaper, the labels aren't as nice etc. That being said, I've never had one that didn't load the rom and wasn't playable. If you go through a site like ali express, they're usually only a couple bucks.
