  1. Look into a sharp twin. One unit, less bs.
  2. Actually bought this several weeks ago, but installed today.
  3. Threw out a pretty low ball best offer for a "worked before going into storage" 5200 trackball and the seller accepted, surprisingly. Hopefully it still works. Best case, it's definitely going to need a teardown and cleaning.
  4. Yeah, I love the color. I bought the component cables new back in the day. I'm hoping i still have them stored somewhere. Outside of that, it's a pretty easy mod to add a region switch, so I'll be doing that.
  5. I find most games to be unplayable with the stock controllers. I could get used to using them, but I honestly have no desire to. I have a MP clone on order.
  6. You don't get an ass like He-mans without doing some squats
  7. Not gaming related, but pretty cool nonetheless.
  8. I have a feeling most of the disk drives out there probably don't have a lot of miles on them. I'm guessing the belts probably went bad fairly early on most of these and FD drives got thrown in a box for 30 years.
  9. The clear silicone belts that most places sell as replacements seem to last a long time. It's the original rubber belt that dry rots and falls apart.
  10. My dad was briefly interested in Mario and duck hunt when I got my NES. He'd occasionally play some light gun arcade games when we went to pizza hut or an arcade. That was about it.
  11. Honestly, I'd give repairing it a shot. It's not THAT bad to do. I've got a few extra belts if you need one.
  12. Unless it's specifically listed as working with a new belt, I would 100% expect it to not work. The belt is fairly easy to replace. It's calibrating the drive that's kind of tedious.
  13. I'd say 1/3 are playable maybe. You do need to do some research before buying games.
