  1. It's cool. I already own 16 Xbox 360 games. I have no problem buying my games. BTW I think it might me a while before it could be really wide spread. I'm pretty computer savy and I destroyed one 360 trying to get it right. It's pretty quick to do, but can be tricky figuring it out for the 1st time. It's not at all like PSP, btw which I happen to own 25 purchased game for as well. Also I'd love to see a true hack making the system open like Xbox 1. I'm dreaming a perfectly running N64 that'll take USB apapter for original N64 controller.
  2. Thank you. Why would I be on a site like this if I didn't care about collecting games?
  3. I never said one word about pirating. Have you heard of 360's destroying discs? It happened to me once already. I'm not the only either so there. I enjoy have a real game collection too, like every here. You should know all the facts before speaking to someone like that/
  4. You can play properly backed-up Xbox 360 games burned to dual layered DVD+Rs when you hack the DVD drive's firmware correctly. By bricked I meant messing up / rendering using.
  5. So what I bricked one in the process? I can play back-ups now on my new working one. Sweet.
  6. But Xbox is oh so good for modding. BTW, once modded you can access anything on the hard drive.
  7. Pretty much any UMD 2.5 and lowr can be played on 1.5 firmware. 2.6 UMDs are where the problems arise.
  8. I presume this is a proprietary windows-only reader? It's windows only. The free online magazine offer expired anyway. The other one is just for the print magazine.
  9. There should a big circle icon and and small circle next to it. The smaller one I think is for copying.
  10. What options are do you see? I know it has to be there. My Xbox is modded so I don't have my original dashboard there anymore. The maker of the memory card doesn't matter. Controller might be an option to look for too.
  11. Go into the dashboard and memory. Just select the file and copy.
  12. PSP is indeed a great little emulation machine. Anyone who doesn't think so most like isn't using using the right settings or most recent versions of the emulators. Emulation is good on 2.6, but great on 1.5.
  13. The 360 updates aren't as bad as with PSP. Generally they make the 360 better. Best of all no update yet has stopped the current DVD Drive firmware hacks.
  14. Yeah I liked Killer Instinct in the arcade and the N64 version wasn't bad. It was at least a lot better than the SNES version.
  15. You have to use the GTA eloader to access the downgrader. It's the only way to run unsigned code on 2.01-2.6 firmware. Once you downgrade you don't need it anymore, because you'll be at 1.50. This is a case where you could just rent the game once it you don't want to buy it.
  16. Yep. Got mine on Saturday. Cool. I wasn't sure if anyone here took advantage. I'm glad you did. Afterall all there's nothing wrong with a free magazine subsciption.
  17. Not unless you buy a PSP with Firmware rev. 2.0 or less. The GP32, from what I can recollect, has shoddy Snes emulation and can only emulate the 8-bit scene. Now I don't know about the GP2x, but I do know the PSP's are going pretty good. I can't say much since I've only used a PSP. The newer rev. of the PSP 2.0+ make it much harder to get involved in the homebrew scene due to having to buy GTA and trying to find the correct software to run it. But like I said the PSP rev. 2.0 can be downgraded to 1.5 very easily and can run homebrew apps in an instant. The PSP homebrew scene has shown that, with certain software, you can actually trick your PSP into thinking it's running rev. 2.5 + so you will be able to run newer UMD's plus all the homebrew apps. You know there is a 2.6 downgrader out now? So pretty much any PSP owner with 2.60 or lower firmware can now have a 1.50 PSP as long as they don't have one of the new TA-82 model PSPs. http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/showthrea...5148#post145148
  18. NES - SMB, Kung Fu Sega Genesis - Sonic The Hedgehog Atari Lynx - Blue Lightning SNES - Street Fighter II PS1 - Battle Arena Toshiden, Ridge Racer N64 - Killer Instinct Gold, SMB 64 Dreamcast - Soul Calibur PSP - Ridge Racer
  19. I hate re-bump, but I just saw the offer was over. Here's another free offers. Sorry, US residents only. http://www.gameshout.com/egm

  21. I always like the Ascii fighting sticks.
  22. I wanted to update by stating I just received the last 2 issues of EGM in the mail today.
  23. would they really do that? I've done it before with Circuit City sales at both stores. Neither store ever gave me much of a problem when it came to price matching. When it's a really low price a manager may need to come over, but they still do it.
  24. Worse case you can always print the prices up from Circuit City's site and get them price matched at Best Buy or Walmart.
  25. I say keep looking around on ebay. I bought mine for $150 a while back on there with 16 mostly good games. Here's one right now with 10 games and it's at $41.00 with less than 2 hours left. If you want one with a box that might be a bit tougher to find and more expensive. http://cgi.ebay.com/Atari-Jaguar-with-10-g...emZ250002546224
