  1. Yup. That's should be a good one lol. I was at my fighting game peak during the Street Fighter era. Now I prefer wrestling and boxing games, because they far have less moves to learn and they are slower paced. I grabbed the DOA4 because it was a deal, it's supposed to be good and I have a couple of friends without a 360 that love fighting games.
  2. Yes you can. It looks like it has a pretty good online set up too. I'm not playing online yet, because I'm know I'd get stomped. I haven't played a DOA game in a little while.
  3. Talk about a deal! I was in a pawn shop and picked up a bunch N64 carts for $5 a piece which was a great deal regardless, because they were good titles. Then I saw the DOA4 behind the counter and I told the owner I wanted it too. He told me since I already bought the N64 games I could get it for $15.
  4. I saw Stay Alive today too. It wasn't that bad. It kept my interest. The movie looked pretty low budget, it all worked from the film. A cop made a line about Qbert that was classic.
  5. EA is all over the ads. They are to the point of being ridiculas in Fight Night Round 3. My question is did Midway pay to have Budweiser in Tapper or was it the other way around? That's the 1st placement I remember in a game and it was over 20 years ago. http://www.skytopia.com/games/arcade/big/tapper.png
  6. It's supposed to be in Hawaii and my wife is part Hawaiian and was born there. I may get just on the graphics and hope the gameplay cuts the mustard. It's a lot cheaper than it would be to take her for a drive around islands although I plan to do that someday.
  7. I've only paid full price for 2 out of the 9 Xbox 360 games that I own. I'm all about finding deals. It's expensive to be a 360 gamer since no new game can be bought for less than $40 and that will mostly likely be the case for a while.
  8. I'm so happy I bought my Jag with 16 games, 2 controllers, and AV cord for $150 last year. I knew it was a good deal!
  9. I think it's more like Cloak and Dagger. You know, a movie based on a game that doesn't even exist, or at least doesn't exist on the system used in the movie. I hope that's the case. Street Fighter the Movie gets my vote as the worst movie ever made.
  10. I liked the PS1 version better. However, if I was to replay it today I'd go for the Jaguar version since the load times would be quite annoying for me now.
  11. Although no date has be released when it will be possible, it's exciting that they are working on it and it can't happen so enough for me. http://www.gamespot.com/news/6145973.html?www.dailytech.com
  12. If it's one of the really old ones, a SCPH-3001 for instance adjusting the laser may help but it's not guaranteed. Many older PS2s have already died or starting to die now. I've seen this help and I've see it not help the problem as well. http://www.cyber-mag.com/station/laserPS2.htm
  13. Anyone who wants it, but is short on cast should go to Compusa or have someone price match their ad. They have it for $44.99 this week!!! http://www.compusa.com/products/product_in...rnal&tabtype=rv
  14. They are the best designed version yet. They should be the most reiable. I'd only buy a slim one even if I could buy a new fat one.
  15. I don't think the Stewie sounds British. It's more like that hyper intellectual speak from Kelsey Grammer or David Hyde Pierce from Fraiser. You can't really try to rationalize Family Guy, because it often makes no sense and contradicts itself. It's still a great funny cartoon.
  16. I prefer emulation or the real consoles with anything I can't properly emulate on the Xbox except the 5200. It's the one system I really wanted as a kid, but didn't get until adulthood. So I really enjoy collecting for it and playing it now. Plus you can't emulate the trackball or paddle.
  17. Maybe, but it's not really been used in console gaming circles until recently. Hence, the reason the question was asked in the 1st place.
  18. Hard Disk Drive. To further explain, since high definition television is a big factor in next gen gaming, the industry is using the acronyms HD for high definition and HDD for hard drive or hard disk drive.
  19. I think Sony was holding to the slim hope they could get it out by spring, but they had to finally face reality. Anytime you are talking about a spring release when no one has played even a demo by March, it's not good. PSP seems like it was just thrown together and my 2nd one is starting to fall apart. The analog nub was a horrible design and the square button is all f---ed up. I'm glad I bought a 360 in January and plan to get a DS Lite when they hit the US. I haven't given up all hope on Sony yet, but I'm getting there. What's sad is I've always been a huge Sony supporter.
  20. You can't get on Live when it's softmodded. Most who really want Live either have chips that they can turn off or 2 Xboxes. I save Live for my 360.
  21. Smack Vs. Raw 2006 on PS2 has the best create a character I've ever seen in any game. You will see the original wrestler in the background video, but's not that bad if you pick a wrestler that looks a little like your CAW.
  22. Great episode. I saw the Colecovision in a commercial for it. So it wasn't as much of a shock, but seeing the Great Space Coaster was. I watched that show when I was a little kid. http://www.retrojunk.com/details_tvshows/7...-space-coaster/
  23. Ahh, that's what I get for not checking to see if it was posted.
  24. Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 is pretty rare. Gamestop near me had a sign saying they were giving $35 for it. It's rare on all systems. The PS2 version was the game that 1st showed I could make a few bucks buying certain games for cheap at flea markets and pawn shops and sell them for good profits on ebay.
  25. That was great. Peter won maid service for a week on Wheel of Fortune and she was pulling stuff she found in his belly button and a Colecovision was in there. Peter said, "Yeah Colecovision! This is gonna be a fun afternoon!" Also they had a great nod to a show I forgot all about, The Great Space Coaster.
