iam not using the RF box, iam using an f connector to the RF on my tv. But there is an RF box like thing inside

tried a different tv with strange results

no change it does the same with the cartridge in or out. just a black screen now

i got it off amazon, ive been looking for years and never seen a game or system in the wild. ill re clean the contacts and try again, and mabye order another cartridge thank you!

Hey everyone! I just found my first 2600, it was at a goodwill for 15$. its such a beautifull sight and something i wanted for a long time Vintage hardware is rare in nova scotia Anyway i have 1 game for it, Yars revenge. i hooked it up and its not working i reseated the chips, looked at the caps. Cleaned connections and nothing works. all i get is a black screen and the odd time i get solid vertical lines

Does anyone want to have it i will just ruin it

I cant do it. I soldered in two, turned it on it got worse and one of the new chips got so hot it burnt my finger Iam way to shakey and retarded i should sell this machine to someone smart iam making it worse

Hey! I finaly got time off work, got my work station setup, got some asap projects out of the way, and baught a brand new soldering station, iam ready to attack the ti99 Arcadeshopper i re read your post a few times and is the left diagram what iam going to be doing?
