  1. Came across a loose NSTC CommaVid Stronghold. If anyone is interested, open to trade for: - loose NSTC Lochjaw* - loose NSTC Malagai* - loose NSTC Out of Control* - Blue label Skiing - Vulture Attack (K-Tel) - loose NSTC (extra confirmed) X-Man* * I believe these games to be rarer than Stronghold, so I'll kick in $ or other game items to make the trade happen. Or a rarer boxed game(s) - AtariAge rated 6 or higher *** Also have a loose Sears pic label Asteroids and a boxed Fathom, would trade for: - white label Frogs & Flies or blue Skiing (the banes of my life) Thanks - Load
  2. eBay Auction -- Item Number: 320324410662 They used. Not test. Just tryin to make a little money.
  3. eBay Auction -- Item Number: 130274657297 Ghost Manor & Spike's Peak. I'd have pulled trigger at this price, but have this game boxed already.
  4. Seriously, anyone on this? Because I have a boxed 75109 text label, and I have a loose 75109 pic label, and I'm starting to think - presto change-o - I am now the proud owner of a boxed picture label Gunslinger.
  5. Ok. So what's the difference between 75109 text label box and the 75109 pic label box?
  6. Umm that buyer is a collector who sells off spares and doubles and is for sure not a "reseller". Umm I've seen this reseller on eBay for a while and would be quite shocked if this "collector", by 2008, didn't already have a loose Espial, and didn't buy this game simply to mark it up $30.
  7. .... and sniped by a reseller a minute later. I tried.
  8. $20 with free shipping This game can be hard to find, and I paid way more than this for mine.
  9. Let's not play patty-cake with McGrail here (que the knee-jerk "McGail is good seller!" defenders). You were right to bring this auction up. This is pathetic. The item in this listing is worth no more than a loose 2600 Crossbow game in terrible condition. The fact that this is being listed as some kind of $50 miracle ultra-rare factory error is just pathetic.
  10. Can be tricky to find: Loose '86 3-D Tic-Tac-Toe w/ $4 BIN eBay Auction -- Item Number: 350093176655
  11. What does the 1986 silver label Asteroids box look like?
  12. why would you NOT blame them? they don't say on their website that there is a chance on it not being a text label version, it says it IS a text label version inside! VERY shady business practices if you ask me!! great way to treat the atari community! Thanks Joe!! Rick whoops. Rick Weis is right (say that three times fast) - kinda. It says on Atari2600.com that the barcode box MIGHT contain the blue label game.
  13. Don't mean to rain on your parade, but I DID buy a shrinkwrapped barcoded Skiing game from Atari2600.com, and I opened it, because I had to know for sure. And no dice - it was just a regular label game. Atari2600.com used to have language on their site about the blue label Skiing being in the barcode box, but he took it off after I told him what happened with mine. I suspect the blue label games did ship in the barcoded boxes, as those are the later release boxes, but there's no guarantee. And at $25 $18 a pop, it could get expensive buying those sealed games and opening them to see. If I had to to it all over again, I wouldn't have opened the box.
  14. I hear ya, brother. I just checked my shelf, and there sits an INTV Burgertime. I don't even remember getting it. But I've been searching for an INTV Frogs N' Flies for years and years and have NEVER seen one. I need 8 loose game to complete the collection, of which 6 of them a very rare, 1 is white Frogs 'n Flies and 1 is blue label Skiing. I can deal with the very rare games, and will get them whenever I find the $. But these two label variations are now getting kind of annoying.
  15. Actually, I think I've been pretty consistently against resellers lurking in a collectors forum, and especially against you and your "Check out my listings!" spam every week for the past 4+ years. Has nothing to do with that boxed lot you snaked from me and sold at an exponential profit to a lot of AtariAge members here. I think I still do have that email from you where you talk about how you're "more educated than 99% of Atari collectors." though.
  16. What do you think McGrail's most overpriced game is? So many to choose from, but I think I'd have to pick: $25 for the loose '87 Galaxian, followed closely by $50 for the Panda Sea Hawk with the label ripped off, then the $120 Cosmic Swarm he got for $20 with the box all scuffed up even though you can't really tell that from his listing photo.
  17. ... because we are sittin' pretty. Screw gold, invest in Atari. Print this out and wave it at your wife the next time she gives you crap for wasting money on your childish toy-collecting hobby. This is an solid investment: eBay Auction -- Item Number: 260250057101 boxed Yar's Revenge: $31 That's a 600% profit increase if you bought this for the $5 it was worth last week. eBay Auction -- Item Number: 260250054282 boxed Video Pinball: $35 That's a 1100% profit increase if you bought this for the $3 it was worth last week. eBay Auction -- Item Number: 260250046345 boxed Star Raiders: $38 That's a 400%+ profit increase if you bought this for the $9 it was worth last week. eBay Auction -- Item Number: 260250050776 boxed Vanguard: $24 That's a 800% profit increase if you bought this for the $3 it was worth last week. eBay Auction -- Item Number: 260250052074 boxed Video Chess: $21 That's a 400% profit increase if you bought this for the $5 it was worth last week. It just goes on and on: Big money! Big prizes! People who sell on eBay take note: there is no coinsidence that this guy charges $3 to ship a game and is raking in big money on his auctions. eBay buyers are sick of being screwed over on shipping, and they will, I firmly believe, spend $10 more on an auction final price to save $2 on shipping.
  18. Sure! I pay $2 for the box and packing materials and $6 is my average USPS cost for a < 1 pound package. I don't make any money off of shipping. If you buy more I'll combine the shipping since it will only be one box and the overall shipping will be less. Alternately, if you don't care that they're boxed up I can put them in a padded envelope and send them via Media Mail... for that I'd only charge $3.50. If you want it boxed and sent media mail I could do it for $4.50. Hope that helps. Good Luck! In any other context I'd find this insulting, but after 10 years on Ebay I'm used to sellers who overcharge for shipping talking to me like I'm some kind of stupid idiot who can be convinced that it actually does cost $8 to ship an Atari game. So anyway, good luck with those sales!
  19. Any explanation for the $8 shipping fee for one Atari game, bro?
  20. That's not really fair - you're not counting his 20% discount off the 5X AtariAge store markup. I love looking at McGrail's listings. Based on his complex pricing system, my collection is woth thousands and thousands and thousands of dollars! I'm totally rich!
  21. What the hell? This is like bidding $1 more than the highest bid on The Price is Right.
  22. QF1: Philly (Montreal softest 1 seed in history of NHL playoffs) QF2: Pittsburgh QF3: Detroit QF4: San Jose SF1:Pittsburgh SF2: San Jose SC: Pittsburgh Total Goals: 34 And that's the Pens sweeping of the frickin' Rangers, btw.
  23. He does. His name is Ralph. He found these games in his mother's house, who many either be dead or moved into a home or something. I explained to him that these old games held a lot of value to some people, and that a bunch of Atari resellers were buying his mother's games and reselling for big money. That it would be better if he listed the games in auction without a BIN, so that he could get full value for then instead of some Atari sniper reseller.
