I saved right before the battle, but it's a three-phase battle with something like thirty to fifty kobolds in each wave and you can't save between them. It crashed at the end of the second wave. :\

This battle has seriously been making me avoid the game for like six months. How did I ever have the patience to beat it originally?

I think there's a DOSbox build that lets you take memory snapshots. I would totally cheese my way through a game like that.

I'm about to. Been trying to play it straight but this is pissing me off.
