First weekday before summer classes start, and instructors are finally realizing they need to setup their classes in Canvas. Busy, busy day for the one guy on campus who supports Canvas (me!)

My 9 year old autistic son got in trouble at therapy today for writing the F word on a whiteboard. It's not his fault, though, he has no idea what it is. He was literally just writing down names of Van Halen albums. My wife was no happy... but I think it's kind of funny. So innocent.

I need to write a Javascript implementation of a PLATO terminal. The terminal is graphical, and thus would render into a canvas tag. I already know I need to do a websocket proxy. Any pro JS coders have suggestions on toolkits?

Now that my 5200 works, I've lost all interest in it. Need to find a new broken console or computer to work on.

Out of curiosity I decided to try playing a GameCube game on the Wii instead of my GameCube, since my Wii has component cables and I wanted to see how different the video quality would be from the GameCube's composite output. Holy hell I don't think I'll ever play GameCube games on the Cube again! The difference is so staggering that it looks like the games are running on a completely different engine.

The local Craigslist is littered with Xbox 360's for $50 a pop. May be a good time to buy...
