I was watching a 3 Stooges episode from the 1940's -- one of the later ones. They are hitchhiking alongside a nice modern concrete road, and a 1940's Buick or Oldsmobile splatters water from a puddle onto them. Curly says "modern people these days are so rude. I long for the old days!" People from all eras long for the "old days" -- the theoretically better old days. Swap the 1940's car for a new Toyota Camry, and it'd be the same situation today. And the...

The TURBO button on 486 machines doesn't actually change the clock speed like it does on 386 and earlier rigs. On the 486 it inserts wait-states all over the place instead!

I bought Kaboom a couple weeks ago and still haven't played it. Just been too lazy to dig out the paddles and figure out which ones are the good ones.

Missile Command (arcade) is mean. I went to my local seaside arcade for the first time this season and played the game on the Global VR Classics. I don't think I played it much when I was younger. So those shiny new dark red colored joy-cons that I imported from Play-Asia for my Switch ended up both being defective straight out of the box. The left one's rumble motor wasn't working and the right one's R shoulder button was jammed. Fortunately Nintendo is replacing both for free, but I had to send the originals into their repair center so I'll be without joy-cons for a couple weeks. =P

Watched an ASMR video of some woman eating honeycomb under my "don't knock it till you've tried it" policy. It was just chewing noises and grossed me out so much I had to turn it off. Yep, guess i don't have it! lol.

Activision was the rebels that left Atari, and now they seem like they are the villain.

I just found out that Minecraft will no longer be updated on the Switch and the only console they will continue updates on will be the Playstation 4. Bit of a bummer and great way to leave the Switch owners out of the loop!
