So those shiny new dark red colored joy-cons that I imported from Play-Asia for my Switch ended up both being defective straight out of the box. The left one's rumble motor wasn't working and the right one's R shoulder button was jammed. Fortunately Nintendo is replacing both for free, but I had to send the originals into their repair center so I'll be without joy-cons for a couple weeks. =P
