I don't recall seeing a "1" appearing on the screen after my games were over (completing between 11-16 igloos was my usual range) but if I had noticed it I would have probably assumed that it just indicated "player 1".
This is cool stuff to know and certainly answers my original inquiry - thank you!

While I have already posted in the Buy & Sell section I hope I get a little leeway by listing this STONIX for sale here as this is truly an Intellivision-specific masterpiece of a game...............
For sale: CIB STONIX. Cartridge is signed by game programmer Arnauld Chevallier. This is the same STONIX that Intellivision Rock Star intvdave had for sale a little while back. Asking $175.00 (PayPal only) and I'll pay for the shipping (CONUS shipping only, sorry). Game comes from a smoke/pet-free home and will be safely and securely packaged for delivery.
Please PM me if interested.

How is the quality of the mod? My composite-modded II still suffers from slight ghosting and is only marginally better image-wise to a regular RF system.
I remember reading somewhere here that the Inty II's don't get the benefit from such mods. Of course, it may depend on who is doing the modding I suppose. I picked up mine from the old atari2600 website (those were the days). Luckily later on I obtained a modded Super Pro System that is my # 1 go-to console in terms of picture quality and those sweet comfortable controllers.

On Dallas Season 7, Cliff Barnes was playing Missile Command on an Atari 2600. Then he gets a phone call and hands the joystick to Mark Graison and tells him not to mess up his record game.
I would have taken a pic of the TV but there really wasn't too good of an angle to take of the scene. I bought the complete series DVD set a while back and aspire to finish them all by the end of the summer. Goals, I know.
I had no idea that there are over 300 episodes that each clock in at 49 minutes but I am enjoying them.

Truckin' and Swords & Serpents are now sold......
The Intellivision II lot is now $80.00 - remember, I got the shipping too. This is a nice starter set for anyone who may be Inty-curious. Some excellent games are included (Centipede, Lock N Chase, Demon Attack, Atlantis) as well as a console that includes two nicely working controllers.
On my first post I forget to include that one of the controllers has marker writing (see pic) on the underside of it. Nonetheless, I did very well on Lock N Chase (got to the Heart bonus level!) using both controllers so know that they work fine. $80.00 folks......I got the shipping

I find myself chuckling about the irony of this.........

This. But just having the difficulty switches easily accessible up front scores the win to me.

For sale: two separate lots of items. Comes from a smoke and pet free home. I will cover the shipping and items will be safely and securely packaged for the delivery. CONUS shipping only, sorry. I will accept Paypal only.
1. A nice Intellivision II starter set with 17 games, an Intellivoice and various manuals and overlays. Everything pictured is what you'll receive. Everything has been tested and works fine; both controllers are in good working condition. Unit is in decent cosmetic shape (see pics). $95.00 for the entire lot
2. Both Truckin' AND Swords and Serpents CIB. Truckin' is in very nice condition; the map is in good shape considering how it has been used and folded over the course of time. The box and overlays for Swords and Serpents are in decent condition. See pictures for item conditons. Everything pictured is what you will receive. $65.00 for both CIB games
Any questions, please send me a PM.
Regards,
Ted

Got a VCR laying around? If so, connect it to your TV and then connect the O2 directly to the VCR coax input. With the VCR powered on, you should be able to play the system through the VCR.
I had exactly the same problem a few years back. Using an older RCA Colortrak TV (that only had coax) I could not get my Odyssey to work (while all my other RF systems worked fine on it.) Using the wisdom buried deep in this website, I stumbled upon this as a solution and it worked.
Best of luck!

I recently bought this exact one with very satisfactory results. Compared to the original RF cable the colors and graphics were notably more vivid on my 32" Toshiba CRT using this. Remember too that if you have a model 1 Genesis you would need a different cable.

I stand corrected....truth be told I have been thinking about this all day and I could not recall if the game stopped or continued on with the random levels.
Just finishing 12 and seeing CONGRATULATIONS was grandeur enough lol!

I believe Jumpman Jr. qualifies.......after finishing level 12 a CONGRATULATIONS message appears and if I remember correctly the game ends (it doesn't loop back to the first level)

Help me out here guys.....in what plausible scenario in 1984 did someone buy games like H.E.R.O and Mr. Do's Castle and decide to not open them and have the foresight to just hold on to them for nearly 40 years? I honestly have never understood how this happens. Lesser and more common games that made their way to the discount bins during the Great Crash, I get that. But these rarer titles, how?
I will be an enthusiastic spectator watching how much cash some of these new CIB 2600 games will command.

Hello,
You've got my interest on this! Two questions:
1. Is this a straight-up adventure/platformer type of game? (no board game pieces utilized like in Quest for the Rings)
2. Is the cartridge compatible with NTSC systems?
Sorry to ask, I am an O2 novice.
Thank you!

Alrighty, enough is enough I've been waiting over a day now for someone to make this reference. If you want something done right.......

Just since 2013 here. But what a fantastic thing it has been for me.
While I truly understand the hate Ebay gets I still consider it one of the great results of the internet age. Using the world's virtual flea market I have bought many video game items, movies, CDs and memorabilia (sports, rock, etc.) that at a prior time I would have though impossible to find. Yeah, I've overpaid on some things but was just happy that I could so easily obtain long lost things from my younger days.
That said, I am still mad as hell about the new requirement of providing them a checking account number to continue to sell items on their site. It ain't happening with me and I would assume many other "casual" sellers will also tell them to forget it. It will be interesting to see how this affects EBay - I hold out hope that it will affect enough business to make them change this new policy back to being able to use Paypal.

The question of the day award goes to SoundGammon! How come there are no 5200 Imagic games?
