Yeah, between Disney and JJ Abrams, I weep for the future of Star Wars, I'm so happy that 20th Century Fox outright owns A New Hope, a thorn on Disney's side to be sure, like Sony with The Muppets Take Manhattan and Paramount with Indiana Jones (see Secret of the Incas) then Disneyland tickets now cost $100, plus $20 parking, ultra expensive food and water/drinks, it's all greed, Walt is rolling over in his grave!

Breaking news: Intellivision flashback coming to retail
TrekkiELO replied to Rev's topic in Intellivision / Aquarius
Thank you my friend, Mr. Bill Loguidice! -
Yeah, "Antarctic Adventure" by Konami.
-
Although I'll still be getting only one Colecovision Flashback from Dollar General, these 32 are essentially what I would like to have seen on it overall... 2010: Graphic Adventure Antarctic Adventure (Konami) Buck Rogers: The Planet of Zoom (Sega) Bump 'n' Jump (Data East) Burgertime (Data East) Carnival (Sega) Cosmic Avenger (Universal) Congo Bongo (Sega) Destructor Frenzy (Stern) Front Line (Taito) Gorf (Midway) Ken Uston's Blackjack/Poker Lady Bug (Universal) Looping (Venture Line) Mr Do! (Universal) Mouse Trap (Exidy) Omega Race (Midway) Pepper II (Exidy) Roc 'n Rope (Konami) Root Beer Tapper (Midway) Turbo (Sega) Slither (Century II) Space Fury (Sega) Space Panic (Universal) Spy Hunter (Midway) Star Trek (Sega) Subroc (Sega) Venture (Exidy) Victory (Exidy) WarGames Zaxxon (Sega)

Willa Wonka & the Chocolate Factory from 1971 is one of my all-time favorite films as well, but there's a difference between that spolied brat and us, we pay out our hard earned money while Daddy pays for whatever she wants no matter what the cost!
-
Interesting and fascinating that one of the confirmed games "Venture" is not on Coleco Holdings' trademark list!
-
Not me, I'd never pay $60 on any homebrew game, mediocre or otherwise!
-
Oh come on man, Lady Bug and Mouse Trap have got to be two of the easiest games to get, as already pointed out, AtGames has Venture and Pepper II! Talk about greed, Nintendo I can see, but companies like Universal, Exidy, Midway and Sega make absolutely no money with their precious licenses when they just sit there not as a Colecovision Flashback game, so they're basically worthless! Is Cosmic Avenger also wasted?

Breaking news: Intellivision flashback coming to retail
TrekkiELO replied to Rev's topic in Intellivision / Aquarius
FWIW, a modified version of "Deadly Discs" to remove any Disney reference was included on the Intellivision 10 2nd Edition. -
Indeed, AtGames should get it done right their first time out, your reply here is exactly why I was wanting the Driving, Trackball and Super Action controller games like Sega's Turbo, Slither, Taito's Front Line, Baseball, Football and Boxing to be included as people remember Colecovision for all of that, not only Nintendo's first two Donkey Kong games! So there you have what would be left worth releasing on a CVF 2, without seeing any CVF official game list yet, oh, then also Burgertime and Bump 'n' Jump both by Data East, maybe.
-
Hey Bill, how about the Atari Flashback 5 game lineup, any info that can be leaked there?
-
So now the question is, will Data East's Burgertime by Coleco be on AtGames' Colecovision Flashback? Despite my disappointment in no Turbo, I'll definitely be buying it along with their Intellivision Flashback and Atari Flashback 5 at Dollar General!
-
Bill, I beg you, please bring up Sega's Turbo on the Colecovision for their 2nd version or a driving controller side project, as it is by far the most playable and superior version of this game, even over its arcade coinop counterpart!
-
I would not mind this one, but if Turbo isn't on there, then that is an epic fail, mistake and another missed opportunity in their case, a huge oversight for both AtGames and Sega!
-
Please tell me that they changed their mind about Turbo, it would be a major waste of the Sega license with AtGames because after Donkey Kong and Donkey Kong, Jr., Turbo, an excellent arcade port that's spot on, was another big selling point for Colecovision back in 1982!
-
I'll almost guarantee Cabbage Patch Kids is one as Coleco has always owned that particular property!

Intellivision Flashback sales --Take 2
TrekkiELO replied to 1980gamer's topic in Intellivision / Aquarius
I plan to buy 1 of each, TOTAL... Colecovision Flashback Intellivision Flashback Atari Flashback 5 -
Yeah, it's not that bad, but I see your point, AtGames could just make their Colecovision controller top twist or turn similar to an Atari paddle/driving controller, they're not thinking outside the box like JAKKS did for Pole Position!
-
Another great idea that AtGames could do with the Colecovision Flashback would be to have a driving controller and Turbo exclusive for Sam's Club, kind of like they did at first with their Atari Flashback 4 Deluxe which included paddles!

Techno Source also got around this particular license by using "Crown of Kings" for their Intellivision 10 2nd Edition, so there is definitely hope that it will show up as an Intellivision Flashback built-in game! -
I wonder IF their Atari Flashback 5 will include Turbo for the 2600, since AtGames already had an unreleased prototype in Tempest... http://atariprotos.com/2600/software/turbo/turbo.htm

Atari Flashback 5 New Features (Dream List)
TrekkiELO replied to Moonpig's topic in AtGames Flashback and Portable Consoles
That would be sweet as Paperboy is among my favorite games of all-time! -
Well, as of right now, there are 3 racecar pics in the Colecovision Flashback box's background on its front, it could be for Pitstop, just saying...
-
It would be awesome if AtGames could somehow include Turbo (Sega) and Slither by GDI!
-
Also Frenzy (Stern) Front Line (Taito) Lady Bug (Universal) Looping (Venture) Smurf: Rescue in Gargamel's Castle SubRoc (Sega)
