In defense of the original Flashback...
TrekkiELO replied to toiletunes's topic in AtGames Flashback and Portable Consoles
Well, I do enjoy the Atari Flashback's 7800 console and joystick looking similar to their originals along with its games, Asteroids, Centipede, Desert Falcon, Charley Chuck's Food Fight and Planet Smashers, but that's about it! -
Could you please post a link for the 2013 AtGames Sega Genesis Classic Game Console with 60 games and wired controllers? I've yet to see it!

TrekkiELO replied to Epx998's topic in AtGames Flashback and Portable Consoles
Since AtGames has their licenses, the Colecovision one will hopefully contain Sega arcade conversions like Turbo, Zaxxon, Carnival, Up'n Down, Congo Bongo, Space Fury and Subroc along with Taito's Front Line. Atari Flashback 64 Special Edition
TrekkiELO replied to Epx998's topic in AtGames Flashback and Portable Consoles
Saw it yesterday, except what you read, it's indeed there printed on the side of both Atari Flashback 4s from that so-called Sam's Club (Exclusive, yeah right, not) this year along with their 40th Anniversary one from 2012, so "based on those created for the Atari 2600 and therefore may differ in appearance and performance from the original arcade and console editions developed by TAITO Corporation" is key! -

No. I saw that too, but forgot to mention it! Another possibility, maybe it's pirated? -
Atari Flashback 64 Special Edition
TrekkiELO replied to Epx998's topic in AtGames Flashback and Portable Consoles
Sounds like it's basically a Flashback 3, since it had 60 games with wired joysticks, that now has the three Taito games Space Invaders, Jungle Hunt and Front Line included plus an extra game selected from 4's other additional 12, then another one to replace Secret Quest, maybe some kind of early prototype version, I wonder, hmmm... -
Do Tengen game cartridges run on the AtGames Genesis cart port, in specific, Paperboy and Paperboy 2?

Either message me here at the Atari Age forums or via email [email protected], [email protected] and [email protected]

1 part, full film, fantastic flick, still holds up, I also wanted the game "cartridge" back in 1984, never heard of tape except cassette games here! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kbLBia-vRQk It was filmed in Henry Thomas' hometown of San Antonio, Texas.

Atari Flashback 4 Review
TrekkiELO replied to Bill Loguidice's topic in AtGames Flashback and Portable Consoles
As far as I know, the Flashback 4 isn't officially released yet. Our Rite-Aid has #3 though. Like I said in my last reply that you just quoted above, it's an Atari Flashback 4 basic/standard edition by AtGames at a Fontana, SoCal Rite-Aid, they had about 9 for $29.99 each and 3 Atari Flashback 3s which cost $39.99! -

Bill, Was there any particular reason why you said 80 games in your review, are there more secret or hidden games not already mentioned? Rick -
Atari Flashback 4 Review
TrekkiELO replied to Bill Loguidice's topic in AtGames Flashback and Portable Consoles
Thanks Bill, have they told you an actual release date and what stores, like Walgreens, Rite-Aid, Toys R Us or Wal-Mart, just so we know when to start looking for Atari Flashback 4s locally? No release date, but definitely by November. If I get an exact date, I'll let you know. Retailers should include Amazon, Urban Outfitters, Hastings, 7th Avenue, Bed Bath & Beyond, the AtGames Website, Wal-Mart, Target, etc. I'm not sure if every retailer will carry every product, though. Most likely most will only have the console, and Amazon and the AtGames Website will have the extra controllers. I guess we'll see. Well the Atari Flashback 3 was first at Rite-Aid, then Walgreens, Dollar General and Toys R Us late last year, but not in Wal-Mart until 2012. -

Exactly, I agree with all of your points, true indeed, thanks Bill, can you please respond to my reply about the games from page 2? Also, are those dual paddles infrared as well and included with Atari Flashback 4s? Where is that new part 2 review, at YouTube yet?
