  4. Power Joy famiclone. It looks kinda like a N64 controller, has a built in light-gun on the front. It has composite A/V output. It has a extra DB-9 joystick port on it and comes with a PSX style gamepad for 2 player games. $11.99 plus $6 for shipping in USA. 5. I own a Wii, and it's alright...but for the most part i agree with you. I'd take a standard controller any day of the week. There are a LOT of well...let's just call them "Nintendo Power Subscribers" to be PC....around here that are 30 seconds from flaming you to hell and back on this though. But then, hey...i know you can handle it. Just don't say anything about their God, Miyamoto.
  6. I'm selling one here: http://www.atariage.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=104871 It has A/V output, accepts Famicom carts and comes with an 81 game multicart.
  7. Sounds just like the people on forums like this who think their large post count makes them a big shot with credibility.
  8. Rez. Looked cool as hell but didn't feel like much of a game.
  9. I'm not yelling. I'm doing it correctly, it's everyone else that are wrong.
  10. I feel violated. *cries in the shower*
  11. NTSC, the multicart has 81 unique games, no repeats, the usual suspects(Arkanoid, 1942, Galaga, Gyrodine etc), has a Famicom cart slot on the bottom, clear A/V output, built-in lightgun. Includes extra joypad that plugs into main unit for two player games. $25.00 plus $8.50 shipping in usa.
  12. There's a seemingly endless supply of 2600 boxed games. Our grandkid's will be able to buy them cheaply I predict.
  13. Then how do you play it? Keypad? I'm not sure why you can't post a .zip file, but if you PM it to me I can post it. Tempest I don't think you're supposed to be able to play it, yet. You just look at it run, like Wild Western. We do have the source code so someone could add joystick support to it.
  14. Why have I not heard about this anywhere until now? Am I the last one to find out about this? I found this buried on the DP page, in the interviews section. In it's not posted in the emu section with the other CV Roms and proto roms. This is a Parker Brother original game, work in progress. Apparently joystick support had yet to be added but it runs on MEKA fine. zip file contains: ROM, manual, graphics design docs, source code. edit: for some reason AA won't let me add this as an attachment to the post.
  15. Actually BB is now higher than $7. My local BB is now $7.49 for 5 days on new-gen games. Last gen games are 2 games for $10 for 7 days. This is why I just download demos for the Xbox 360. I don't have the time to beat a game in 5 - 7 days anyway and a demo gives a pretty good feel for the game. Plus they won't give you any directions for any games. What a huge rip-off. They must be trying to make up for lost movie rental revenue.
  16. I was at my Mom's house flipping through a Woman's Day or Good Housekeeping magazine and there are full page ads for the Wii in it. Choosy moms choose Wii.
  17. Where are rentals $7? Ballbuster Video?
  18. If anyone says anything to you about the color, insist it's 'salmon' not pink. That's what I do with my Hello Kitty Dreamcast.
  19. This game's perspective always seemed wrong to me. I think it would've been much more playable if the train was horizontal on the screen.
  20. You have to have a game that has support for the cable built in. They haven't added it in years since Sony stopped including the link port on revised PS units. It's mainly 1st and some 2nd generation titles. It can be fun but no big deal in this day of internet gaming.

    Zero 5

In Zero 5's defense I would like to point out or remind people that this was another case of a beta release. There was an interview with one of the programmers and he stated that it took them completely by suprise when Telegames released it, as they had never gotten payed by Atari and never sent the final version that was much more tweeked and polished gameplay wise. But it's not suprising with Atari Corp. they did it with World Tour Racing, Supercross 3D, Fight for Life, that I know of for sure, and then there are obviously a few other titles in the Jaguars library that ones suspects to not be quite done. But it's not just telegames releases, as all the other by them seem to be true final releases, and then you have to look at other post atari releases that are also betas and not quite complete to varying degrees. It would not suprise me in the least if it was a planned, common practice for Atari to release beta's instead of paying the developers and getting the final versions. Even Rebellion said they never got payed the final amount they were owed from Alien vs. Predator, though in that case Rebellion unwittingly gave Atari the final version before getting payed. similiar stories run rampant among Jaguar developers. It would be sweet if some of the TRUE final versions ever started showing up...from the hands of these developers, lost on some hard drive somewhere... "payed" ?
  22. You can do component video mods to the CV. The CV video chip outputs RY-Y-BY, but no one will help me figure out how to adapt these signals to TV levels.
