Game Daily's top Most Overrated Industry People
Bill Brasky replied to 8th lutz's topic in Modern Console Discussion
Already two posts defending his honor. I forgot to add: Prepare to get dogpiled for saying anything about "the chosen one" aka Miyamoto. Gee, what did YOU guys think of the article? -

5. David Perry 4. David Perry 3. David Perry 2. David Perry 1. Shigero Miyamoto. For every fanboy that loves smelling his farts there are two gamers that don't really care for his cutesy, wanna be Disney-esque recycled characters and games. God I'm sick of hearing about this guy. -
It sounds to me like you're only playing it on skill level one or you're not playing it multiple times through. You would not find it easy to loiter in the pipe levels on skill levels 3 or 4. There are giant drips of water falling from the pipes and jacks(not snowflakes)and balls bouncing and balloons to avoid and gates that close behind you. On skill level one these aren't present so it seems overly easy.

Whats a copy of Frenzy worth?
Bill Brasky replied to jboypacman's topic in Classic Console Discussion
$7-$11 loose tops. You don't need the manual unless you are retarded. -
Indeed. A lot of Universal's games have awesome looking bezel artwork. I like that backlit part too.

Tempest, Did you ever find any protos in the wild in MI? It seems like I only ever hear of them being found in Cali. -
A tad pricey?!?! That guy is NUTS! He'd be lucky to get $400 for that game. It's starting bid is only $1,100 too high. What did this guy do, see some dealer asking $3,000 for a Ms. Pac Man and think his machine was worth a fortune. All these ebay arcade machine sellers think their machines are worth a fortune. A dedicated Universal cabinet doesn't mean much. They all used the same generic cabinet with generic Universal sideart. There are no arcade deals on ebay.

Technical question about Dragon's Lair on ADAM
Bill Brasky replied to Pixelboy's topic in Classic Console Discussion
Thinking of porting this to CV(say yes)? I don't know the answer to your question but a nearly identical version was later ported to the C=64. Maybe it used the same amount of ram per level? There's a lot more people who know about disecting c=64 games. -
Actually, it has none of the features from Super Zaxxon arcade. All the extra features are new and original All the tunnel levels from Super Zaxxon were included. There's no tunnel sequences in the ADAM Zaxxon. yes there are. Have you even ever played this game for more than 5 minutes?

Is the CV power supply not sealed shut? Mind you I have seen them cut open with a dremel tool cutting wheel Yes,it is sealed,as all power supplys, ive never seen one screwed together, thats why i keep them if faulty,in case they can be fixed,i have about 5 of them that are faulty,if i do come across a CV power supply,i just make sure i can return it,or test it first before i buy it,but people who are electronically adept laugh at me and say"dude, why bother, just get a new one".,i say yeah, thats easy for you to say,the CV,PS, is a rare breed, cant just go out and buy those things. If there is a way of fixing them,POST it please!..anyone?,id sure hate to throw all those power supplys away.I figure it would be easier to just replace the transformer inside the casing, then you dont have to bother splicing cv connectors onto anything,i mean thats all a power supply is,a transformer isnt it?1 component? Where are you going to get another transformer that puts out the three voltages needed? You probably end up with a PC power supply anyway. Splicing a CV power suppply cable to a PC ps would be 100X easier than trying to saw open a CV ps and replace the innards.
