    But you can also load it up on Linux using WINE

    Were you able to get it to work (meaning did the LTO Flash software recognize the LTO Flash cart) without using an SD card on your wifes laptop? Or did Win 10 cause an error like what could be happening with mine?

    My Thunder Castle Update: Slight improvement, but I'm at a huge disadvantage cuz I just cannot remember what all the items do. I thought I was energized from one of the items and tried to kill a wizard only to have him kill me cuz I wasn't energized. Uggghhh. This was the 1st time I've ever gotten to level 3 so this is probably my max on this one. 🥺

     

     

    3x 10,000 + 14,000 = 44,000

    I don't have an SD card. I'm using a laptop. I wouldn't even know where to put that, but more importantly are you saying that the LTO Flash has a known error using Windows 10 Pro? Meaning this will not work regardless of what LTO Flash cart I get?

    Yeah I'm using the cable that came with it. Pretty sure it's a data cable and not just a charging cable...

    The LTO does work with bin files.

    I actually just found another cord and it doesn't work either... I think it's a lemon cart.... That would figure as I have a long history of buying them..... ugggghhhh

    Tried a few times. The LTO Flash software doesn't recognize the BIN file in either the ROMs List section or the Menu Layout section. It's been a total clusterphuck so far..... 👎

    Hi Guys,

     

    So I bought an LTO Flash and when I try to get ROMs and unzip them they are showing up as .BIN files. Then when my LTO Flash tries to find them in downloads the folder is empty. What am I doing wrong? Clearly it's looking for .ROM files but they are not getting unzipped this way. Do I have to somehow transmit the .BIN file to a .ROM file listing? Sorry I'm a techie N00b. This shit has never come easy for me unfortunately... :(

    My Thunder Castle Update: I gotta say I'm NOT a big fan of this game at all. I find it almost impossible to catch the wizards. I had 5 guys on screen two and every one of them died and I didn't catch one f'kin wizard. 🤬🖕 The mouse who is supposed to energize you instead runs away from you. I feel they really made a HUGE development flaw in not allowing the Knight to speed up when energized. Just plain STUPID!!!! Not gonna spend too much time on this one cuz it flat out pisses me off.... Again we should change this seasons theme to games that frustrate the hell out of you.... 👎

    The picture was taken post game as the game over screen only stays on for a few seconds, but like the arcade as long as you don't start a new game the "attract" screen still shows last game score... Really points on the blaring gaps in Parker Brothers game and whether or not it was possible in the INTV ---

     

    One - the middle ladder as you say on stage 1 ACTUALLY goes ALL THE WAY DOWN to the 3rd level, meaning you can CLIMB UP IT as well... Seriously Parker Bros??? FAIL, doable on INTV of fucking course...

     

    Two - on level 2, there's a platform if you grab onto puts you on the top and gives you 500 pts. Parker Brothers, on the other hand just made it every other time and no points... lol Not as terrible as #1, so not going to nail the bros for this one too much

     

    Three - A TON MORE items come out at once, making the levels not be a slogfest!!! And I dont want to hear Parker Bros could only get 2 sprites working lol

     

    Four - on 2nd trip thru a sea hag sits on top right and heaves skulls in the game grid. Hate those hags already :)

    Yeah this game is friggin BAD!!! I have both EMU and the 2609 so I try both. EMU is much better to play because with the cartridge version you cannot go near the stairs because most of the time the Sea Hags will be invisible and a floating hammer will come at you out of nowhere, not kidding..... The Sea Hags are not SUPPOSED to be invisible, they are supposed to appear so you atleast get a warning... Nope not my crummy cart version.. You go near the stairs and get hit with a hammer that appears out of nowhere. So now when I'm playing the cart version I have to stay in the middle and wait for the hammers to come and then I can make a break for it to climb the stairs, but if Brutus is coming then I have no choice and gotta chance it.... 

     

    Then there's Popeye getting stuck thing, either going up the stairs or trying to go down the stairs, it's a NIGHTMARE!!! He even gets stuck sometimes on straightaways. Just yesterday on the 2nd level I reached for the spinach and got stuck in the wall behind it... Ugggghhh Just a bad bad bad game... It has potential and is playable, but because of the control flaws and other issues it's just one big heaping pile of video excrement..... 🙄👎

    keep the farming in check. 
     

    Die on level 6 with 32,000 points = 92,000 total points.

     

    the tv screen points should be a reasonable amount since we’ll all be advancing with a 10,000 bonus per screen.  

     

    Rationale: we use the Honor system anyway...... and c’mon ... the moment someone claims they got 50,000+ it’s just not believable that there was no farming. If you can get 57,000 points, you can clear every board in 5 to 10 minutes. The best players would end their games around 35,000 to 40,000 points on level 10, 11 or 12.

    We can definitely look at this idea since nobody has submitted a score yet. Lets see what Matt says as he knows this game better than anyone I know. He even currently holds the World Record on Twin Galaxies.... Matt what say you about Sparty's idea for Thunder Castle? @IntyFanMatt

     

    I can also move the ending date on this to the day after on Monday, March 8th so we still get in a full two weeks to play while we are deciding how best to set this game up. But one thing to consider the old record would probably have to be changed based on this new formula as well... In the mean-time lets try to hold off putting in scores until we get this sorted out. Thx
