Is it me or are the Patch amounts for Activision all over the place in difficulty? Check it out... Pitfall the Patch is 20k - Super Duper easy to get Worm Whomper the Patch is 75k - Pretty hard to get River Raid the Patch is 35k - Pretty hard to get Beamrider the Patch is 60k - Very hard to get Stampede the Patch is 3k - Not too hard to get Happy Trails the Patch is 40k - Seems very hard to get Dreadnaught Factor is for VICTORY on level 4 - Not super hard for a seasoned player, but a player just starting out will fail. So with the 7 games the range of difficulty for the Patch seems to be all over the place. Just something I noticed. 🙄 Weird PS - I have gotten the Patch with 5 of these games so far. I have not played Happy Trails at length yet, seems impossible and I have not gotten the Beamrider Patch yet as I'm kind of a n00bie with this game as well....

Okay guys, here's the breakdown for Season 14 of the HSC which starts this Sunday night (January 24th, 2021). The theme last season was 'Shooter' games. Season 14 the theme will be 'Variety Games' meaning we will be playing games from Imagic / Activision / Atari-Soft / Parker Brothers / and yes Coleco and maybe even Interphase. 😁 It will be a mashup of whatever Intellivision company made games we can throw together for a 16 game season with bonus games a plenty. It will be pretty sweet... 😲 The scoring will again be 13 points down to 1 with the 10 spot skipped. It will be a 16 game / week season (I don't like to say 'games' rather weeks because there WILL be bonus games as well. We will be awarding +2 points for games won this season. It was done in the past and will be brought back as it gives more incentive to win a game / week. So if you win a game you will get +13 and then +2 so total +15 and if you break a record(s) you will receive additional points as well. Bonus games will again be 7 points down to 1 point, and bonus games will get a +1 for the winner. So +2 additional for regular game winners and +1 for bonus game winners. Breaking records bonus. If you break and set a new record you will get +3 additional points. If you break a record, but someone else breaks it higher you will get +2 additional points. If you tie a record you will get +1 additional points. New starting times for games this season. We will 'try' to get new games pushed out between 6pm and 9pm on Sunday nights. The games will still close 2 weeks after at 11:59:59PM. Sometimes games could also start on Saturdays which happened some last season, but they will always close at 11:59:59PM. Meaning only the start times are changing, the close time will still be the same. Both Jacob and I are co-moderating for this season. 👍 I will 'try' to give periodic score updates cuz I find it's actually easier this way if you keep up with the scoring. 🍺 So that's about it for now. Yes but there are many exceptions.... Just looking at the games from Season 13... You beat the Star Strike 'world record' at TG, not sure what level. Your Vectron record SMASHED the 'world record' on TG Astrosmash, Biff would crush whatever is there on TG You tied the downhill record and SMASHED the slalom 'world record' in Skiing I currently have the Maze A Tron record on TG but it's at the disc level I currently have the Dracula records on TG, but Matt has a higher medium level score here Matt's River Raid score here beats the 'world record' on TG Matt's Dreadnaught Factor scores here are the best I've seen Biff's Frog Bog score is the best I've ever seen, 660 I believe? Spartan's Deadly Disc score here beats the 'world record' at TG Matt's Worm Whomper score here beats the 'world record' at TG Matt has the Shark Shark record at TG Biff's course 1 and my course 2 times in Auto Racing SMASH the 'world records' at TG I have the Space Armada record at TG. I see you are a big Space Hawk guy, the world record at TG is 13 million+, the guy played it for 17 hours straight..... 😲

Yes and I hate the term 'world record' because it implies that you have the best score 'in the world', but that usually isn't the case..... Maybe if someone said I have the Twin Galaxies record it would be more palatable.....

I agree they are documented, but this site while fun, isn't recognized as 'world records'..... Twin Galaxies is.... You would SMOKE alot of the records there, no doubt.....

I had the skiing cart as a kid, but I maxed out in the HSC (35.4 downhill). I should have had 106 on the slalom but I brainfarted on a great run and missed the final gate, but that still wasn't even close to your times. And I agree, for some reason Twin Galaxies felt the need to put every single slope on both courses up so this one dude got all 30 records which is stupid.... You also have to have pristine discs to do superbly in skiing I think.

You broke the world record on Twin Galaxies. Dude I have to ask, howcome you aren't on that site??? 😲 You are breaking records all the time!!!! 👍 The level 1 record on Twin Galaxies is 14,260. Your skiing skills alone would get you 25-30 records.....
