  1. In this episode I discuss more Atari 2600 hacks. All of those profiled are up for Atari Awards, so please after viewing this head over there and vote for your favorite. I'll have a Homebrew episode up in a few days also profiling this year's nominees.
  2. I agree with what you wrote. It must have been disheartening to not get credit for your work. Thanks for finding out the names. I've been curious about that, too.
  3. Nice job on the manual. I don't think it came in a box either, did it? I actually liked the game as I reviewed it on my channel awhile back. It's just a little disheartening that Moses never gets across (in the game).
  4. You sound like a good person, Larry. That's all I can say.
  5. I agree with Syzygy1, as I love the game but I see her point about not getting too much information about the patient. At least on Intellivision's Micro Surgery you are told exactly what's wrong with the patient and where you should be focusing your efforts. I never saw the movie, was it good?
  6. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that I feel the two prototypes of Planet of the Apes and Alligator people are the best. I've been a POTA fan for as long as I can remember and I loved the game when I discovered it a few years ago. As far as released games, I'm going with FOX2600 and say "Porky's". I had many memorable hours playing that game.
  7. Love it. Kind of has a Dr. Who feel to it.
  8. I agree. John should know that we all would buy it. Anything he makes is gold.
  9. No problem. I can't tell you how many times as a kid I got put on punishment for cursing at the computer because of this game. Or at my brother for bugging me for when I was trying to concentrate and play. And, yes, I totally agree that the last level is the easiest. After all you have to go through before that, it's nice to be able to relax a little on the last level. The secret is to just keep her pinned in the side and just wail the hell out of her.
  10. I thought I was the only one who lost their mind over that game (Food Fight). I played that so much on the 7800 when I was younger. If memory serves me correctly it only goes up to level 125 and then just keeps replaying older levels. I didn't even know at the time it was an arcade game. If anyone can make the game fun it will be John. I mean look what he did for Mappy.
  11. Me, too. I loved Food Fight on the 7800. Wasnt there a prototype for Elevator Action?
  12. I would be happy just to have the .bin file.
  13. In the latest episode I conclude my interview with homebrew programmer John Champeau. He gives us a few hints of his upcoming projects, many I'm sure you guys will be excited to learn about. I hope you enjoy it. Please don't forget to Like and Subscribe if you haven't already.
  14. I'm going to check it out. Thanks for the recommendation.
  15. No problem. I'll send you a detailed description tomorrow via DM.
  16. No, my co-host if from Canada, or Minnesota or UP Michigan. He's not exactly sure.
  17. I'm looking to purchase the kid's controller for the 2600 and some or all of the overlays for the games. I am also looking for the overlay for Star Raiders. Please let me know and we can negotiate.
  18. I agree. I was totally blown away by Mappy. I loved that game when I was a kid. I think I spent many weeks' allowance plugging quarters into that game! The Famicom port of it was good, but John's is still the best.
  19. Maybe, but you can feel secure letting your kids and grandkids watch my channel because there is no profanity of any kind. I have nothing but respect for James, as if it weren't for him I wouldn't have been inspired to start my own channel. However, I don't spend hours on end trashing people's hard work or finding new and creative ways to use foul language.
  20. I need to dig back into the files of my brain and relearn Basic. I had some fun with that game back in the day. I'm married to a beautiful black woman so I understand. You know what? I was thinking about making T-shirts for my channel, and you inspired me. Anyone who can make a mockup of the Basic Programming cartridge label with a black gentleman on the cover will be entered into my new contest. Whoever has the best design will win a free Class Gamer 74 t-shirt. You can use a photo editing program but I want it to look like it was made that way. Let the contest begin!!
  21. Thank you! John was surprised at how excited everyone is about a new Bowling game. personally, I loved Atari Bowling, I think I played it more than just about any other sports game I owned (except RS Baseball). I'm not sure how it can be updated. Maybe a trackball game? What do you guys think?
  22. Great to hear it. I have an interview on my channel coming up that any and all Residents fans will want to check out. I'm not saying who it's with...Homer Flynn. It should be up next week.
