  1. I've always enjoyed communicating with other Apple II/e enthusiasts.  This is one video that I'm sure you guys have memories wrapped up in.  How many of us played these games every chance we got when in school back in the day?  Please share memories, I'd love to hear them.  Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!

Ugh...sorry I can't watch that.  Between the Che shirt and talking to a puppet it was a bit much.  I've played various versions of it over the years, not a majority, but i will say the NES version that Tengen did was nothing short of stunning.  You have that original mode, then you have like the speed hack chip mode, then different map and display types, tiny, etc.  It's a lot for the value there, and it looks close to the original too unlike Pac-Man with its strange colors.

My channel isn't for everyone. Anyways, the only one i didnt do was the Ms Pac plug and play. It's got 5 games in it. I wish i knew how to get the footage off it. It was my moms as she was a big Ms. PacMan fan. We used to have contests on trying to beat each other's top scores. When I play Ms. PacMan I think about her sometimes.

  3. I've been waiting to do this for awhile.  I'm not sure why... Anyways, arguably the best maze game ever.  Honestly, this is one game were I would say 95% of the ports do it justice, including some of the clones.  What do you think?  Let me know.  Also, any other Arcade vs Ports you would like me to do?

  4. In this week's episode I discuss one of my favorite Atari 2600 games.  I think Private Eye didn't get the publicity it deserved because of the crash.  I feel it is one of Activision's best, if not a lost classic at least.  What do you think?

  5. Today's episode features the PS4 game Stick it to The Man.  I got this when my brother-in-law gave me a gift card for Best Buy.  I got this and another game based on reviews.  I pretty much became addicted to it as soon as I played it.  I knew right away that it was an instant classic.  What is your opinion?

  6. In my latest video I start the unit on the Atari 7800.  I discuss the system itself and some of its rare and valuable games.  I had a 7800 back in the day and have nothing but happy memories of it, spending hours and hours playing Pole Position II, Food Fight, One on One Basketball, and others.  In my opinion, and I'm sure the same of many others, this is probably one of the most underrated game systems in history.  What do you think?  What are some of your memories?

    Can I say, as a Frenchman, that I love your T-shirt? :D

Nice review of all the ports. Really complete. I'm surprised to see no ZX Spectrum port, when the CPC version suspiciously looks like a ZX Spectrum port.

It would be interesting to see remakes made with the passion of modern programmers, the thigns you cna pull out of a CPC or a MSX1 when you know the hardware...

I'll talk about the ZX spectrum next week. I'm a big Asterix fan. I discovered him when I was doing research for my channel and I've been hooked since. I need to lose weight as I'm starting to look like Obelix... I did a whole episode about Asterix awhile back. You should check it out and please do subscribe.

I would like to see what some modern programmers can do. I do like reimagining of classics sometimes.

I first played the NES version... it's one of the best ports of the game. The Game Boy one looks cool but I think it's kind of like Game Boy Donkey Kong compared to arcade Donkey Kong.

Agreed. I included it because it is technically BurgerTime. But...

  9. In my latest episode I have an Arcade vs. Port of the classic game BurgerTime.  I remember playing this in the arcade a lot as a kid, with my mother dragging me away from the machine.  What are your earliest memories of this game?  Which was your favorite and least favorite port?  I'd like to hear what you have to share.

  10. I am looking for a functioning Intellivision console.  I'm not really concerned about games, just that the console has been tested and works.  And if you know how to use it on a modern tv I'd appreciate the help.  If there are some games with it, that would be great.  We can negotiate price.  Thank you!

  11. I know you guys have used this program at least 1,000 times.  But I'm sure this will bring all of you a good sense of nostalgia.  It sure has for me!  Also, don't forget to share it with some of these young folks in your life who weren't lucky enough to be around when this computer was.
