I'm running a limited series this summer of playthroughs of the Putt-Putt games. I'm also having a contest to win a fee game. Check out the video for more details. More videos will follow every couple days. Thanks!!

In what will be my last episode for about two months, Red and I discuss really vintage video games, ones that are from 1977 and before. Please keep watching the channel as I will be uploading some game footage, another blooper reel, and other goodies.

In my latest episode I discuss the children's game series Putt-Putt. Did any of you play this game when you were younger? Have you shared this game with your kids or grandkids? Let me know. There is also a special announcement at the end of the video. Thanks!!

Totally agree. There's something about him. I mean you're not supposed to like him, but it's hard not to.
-
Okay, I got the program. But how do I play the games?

Can anyone help me? I need help emulating this system. Is it possible to do it on Launchbox/Retroarch? Or some other way? I got it to work on MESS but then the next day it stopped working. Seriously! I didn't change anything or modify anything it just quit! I would get a blue screen and then it and MESS would crash. Any help would be really appreciated. thanks!

While were on the subject, does anyone have any advice on how to emulate SCV? I had it working on MESS but then it just quit working.
-
It is. I have it on DAPHNE. I can't record the game footage, though. That's why I used the trailer.
Would you believe i just saw that movie for the first time a few weeks ago? The 2000 dub is better than the 1994 dub as they call him Lupin in that one instead of Wolf.

Thanks for the correction. You would be the one to know! I tried to use the scv on MESS but it worked one day and then wouldn't the next. Hopefully I can get it to work again as I have all the games for it. Thanks again!

In the latest episode I discuss games based on the anime series Lupin III. What is your favorite anime series? What is your favorite manga?
-
In the last episode of my 5200 series, I discuss more Atari 5200 Prototypes. It's really been a lot of fun learning about this gaming system. A big thanks to the 5200 Brotherhood for all their help!
-
Does anyone have a template for a Atari 5200 box? I wanted to change the box that I got for one of the games on Launchbox. Thanks!!
-
Thanks for sharing your memories, everyone. I hope you enjoyed the video.

14 minutes ago, GameGeezer said:Thexder was in fact, ported one console, but only in Japan. It was available on the Famicom (Japanese NES). It's isn't what I would consider to be an outstanding port, but it exists, and you may want to try it.
Thanks for the heads-up. I'll have to check it out. Something tells me it's not any easier.

Wow! What a great story. Thank you for sharing.

In the latest episode from my channel I discuss probably the first computer most of us ever worked with: the Apple IIe. When did you first learn about this computer? What are your favorite programs/games? I'd like to know. Thanks!!

I have been trying to record game footage from Daphne. Everytime i check the footage there is a black window. The sound records but the video doesn't. I use Debut Professional to record my game footage. If anyone can help I'd be most appreciative.

Check out the latest episode where we discuss Five Nights At Freddy's. Have any of you played it? Your kids? What did you think? Did it scare you?

I'm talking about everyday roms. That's why I mentioned Pompeii. The rare and expensive ones are different. I see your point.
-
None actually.
-
You know, in a way I dont blame him. I dont know if it was Matt or someone else who said they're sick of people who put roms on a cart and then try to sell it for absorbodent prices on Ebay or other places. I understand if you have a rom and want to put it on a cart for your own use or if you charge someone a minimal fee to do it. I mean not all of us know how to put roms on an individual cart or have the boards.
I saw an example of this on Ebay a while back. Some guy was selling a cart that of Pompeii. They marketed it as a rare and valuable game and were asking a starting price for $100. Imagine some poor guy who didnt know that it was an incomplete and unplayable prototype? Its people like that who ruin it for everyone.
On a side note a buddy of mine who i met on here made me a cart of Birthday Mania and put my daughter's name on it like you would have got if you'd ordered it back in the day. I hacked the program and put my daughter's name on the game intro.
I gave it to my daughter as a gift and she has it on her desk with her other treasures. She says she'll keep it until her dying day.
Now if my daughter was evil she could try to make the cart look vintage and try to sell it online for thousands.
Sorry to ramble on for so long. The point is that evil and selfish people are the ones who ruin it for the rest of us. Those of us that would readily give away one share roms with anyone.
