Back in high school in the mid 80s I pre purchased Judas Priest concert tickets for myself and a girl I liked. I had expectations from that night as well, guess what? The night ended for me when the concert did so Ive been experienced at pre purchase let down for decades :0

Fall Down is on the very short list to get, along with Spies In The Night :0 Star Castle looks awesome. I have Rebooteroids in the Jaguar so that takes the place of Space Rocks :9 Super Circus is a must, gotta get that. Ive not looked into Toy Shop Trouble, will do so :0 Thanks

Thats very cool. Never had a C64 but had a Amiga 2000, very nice. Had a buddy while in the Marines that swore by the 64 :0 Glad they are brining this to the public here :0

Quality product. What else from AA do you recommend? I play on a 7800. Whats in the pic is what I have from them besides some Jaguar games.
-
Sea Wolf and Super Cobra so far tonight.. Damn...shines new light on what a great game needs.. And its not 2018 tech.. I have a PS4, Xbox One and a Switch..great machines with crazy high tech games that are stunning.. But these on a 7800 are making a statement...Super Cobra.. crazy good... Lol i also bought the original King Kong on DVD today.. Sometimes you just have to appreciate craftsmanship over technology..,

Plus today was mail day And Im really backed up now on games :0
-
Just not interested in it which is odd I know. Its not the cute look (Hell I love me some cute kiddie games!) Just I have so many other platformers on other systems backed up...but nothing like Circus :0

Love it, and your spot on IMO.

I have 2 BallBlazer carts on the way from a eBay lot Buy. Im keeping one to turn into Super Circus from thevAA store. The other Ive no use for. If anyone wants it message me, Ill sell it pretty cheap to someone who wants it.
-
It should exist if enough people want it and will support it enough to be a viable consumer product. 90% of all the consumer items on the shelf today are just there because people want them, not need them. This is no different. I would like one if the final product is what I envision it to be. I would like a Atari branded box that does what they say it would sitting in my room. I do not want a low price emulator or PC that is on the market today just because its cheaper or already available. Its not a solution in search of a problem to me and to others. I still have no ideal why others continue to feel the need to dictate what I and others need/want. Its as straight forward as can be...want one, buy one...dont want one, dont buy one...post whatever you want about it but saying its a solution in search of a problem is not true. People clearly want this thing, and have put their money where their mouth is :0

Agree. Imagine sales tax on eBay! Stinkin govment needs to keep their paws off.. If I were in the OP position I would sell it and not say a word to the government :0 -
I was knee deep in computer gaming at that point so no real ideal what exactly was going on in consoles at that point. The Dreamcast sucked me back into consoles. I would imagine somewhere there are still boxes to be discovered of Atari games, at least I would like to believe that!

It was a well built console IMO. Huge number of original units still working today. Which is why fully working models are so cheap today. The thing was a built like a tank.

Carts arrived timely and well packed. Great communication as well. Carts in great shape, very happy with the transaction!

That is sweet! Very cool :0

Think he was a just team member / designer on the Xbox. Not a lead designer, at least as I understand it. But I do think that having going thru a development cycle of a new ground up console will help him with the AB development. This project seems more like putting the pieces together than something like the original Xbox and having to build the prices and then put them together. Of course with MS clout, money and staffing that might have been easier. I go like the ideal that the AB might be designed and built as well as the original Xbox. That was a nice machine, very well built.

Great Videos From The Mid 90s About The Jaguar
RugglesTx replied to RugglesTx's topic in Atari Jaguar
Yeah me either But he did get me a Apple IIc and games which was awesome :0 -
Great post Yeah in hindsight..oh in hindsight..the differences on what we would have gotten :0 I agree Telegames played a huge role. Atari 2600 games seem timeless. Whenever we start zipping around space on intergalactic trips Im pretty sure every ship will have at least three things.. 1. A roll of duct tape 2. A model 1911 handgun in .45 ACP 3. Some 2600 carts Somethings are just perfect and cant be improved upon
