    1. Philsan and I noticed some glitches on the title screen. It's not a big thing but that’s something I don’t recall seeing on another version of BL. So it might be better to use the XEX from Homesoft as a basis as Philsan recommends.

      Maybe we should put a special label like "TIX’s Spriteset" or anything else.

    Unfortunately in Homesoft version, the sprites are arranged differently, so it's not an easy copy/paste job..

    A special label is not necessary.. but if you can fit somewhere "BRUCE LEE (C) 2019 DATASOFT SPRITES BY TIX" or something like that, it would be great :D

     

    As for the intro screen I don't know I have seen many beautiful converted images by Philsan and others.. there is also a nice one in post 163 here.. I leave the decision to you !

    from the lack of feedback I understand that we have ironed out all the bugs !

    So when it is convenient for you, remove the infinite lives bit from the RC7 xex

    and we can wrap this up  :)

  4. Can't leave it alone.. I keep experimenting with the flying kick, I really don't like the rectangular head (a result of the double wide black pixels),

    so in my tries to smooth it up, this came up ! The hand kinda smooths the corner of the head.. but I'm not sure 🤔

    is it better ? should I change it ? should I leave it alone ?

    He used to kick you off laders before. A sprite change doesn't suddenly make him chase you more. But I think you already got that ;)  Yamo just has different collision points now. And I think his feet got bigger or reach a bit further, as it seems he is more likely to hit you than in the original if you don't duck in time or walk away. But his bigger belly might be an advantage for Bruce.

     

     

    actually the opposite happened, both have had their legs chopped by a pixel !

    So it's a fair fight..

    hmm strange, I don't think he jumps higher now..  can you check with original version ?

    perhaps I can fine-tune the jump better !

    hmmm, the only solution I can see (keeping the standing frame as it is), is adding a pixel in the middle of the gap 🙄

  9. Hello,

     

    trying to get my mind off of Bruce Lee's hack, I hacked in a new run animation for HERO's protagonist !

    I had drawn this several months ago and I meant to inject it but other things got in the way..

    God it was bad.. much better now :D
