Last time I tried to order for someone else, the douche threatened to ban me as well. Good luck with that. I'm too old and grumpy to deal with this kind of shit from people for silly 40 year old junk (according to the rest of the world, nobody of which cares about or knows about this stuff). Let him take his stash to the grave - that's what this kid of attitude unfortunately begets.

I'll tell you one thing - you do that, and you'll be left with a busted ass XBox, and a working just fine 5200 (minus the controllers - they are shit).
-
I hate to tell you this, but the 2600 cannot display 11 items in a scanline. I claim Photoshop! Fake news! Sorry if in poor taste - but as an Atari user since 1977 (even though I was 2 - LOL) this stuff is so beyond amazing to me. All kidding aside, family did get our 1st 2600 in 77 (USA Heavy Sixer) and I got my 400 in 1982. I am more impressed by the new stuff our beloved 8-bits are doing in 2020 than I am by the new hardware available now. Fantastic work to all involved!

Does Jaguar have 3d geometry ? 3D Graphic GPU?
Stephen replied to Oleg Raven Moiseyev's topic in Atari Jaguar
There is no specific 3D hardware in the Jaguar. Everything is done in software (well, it can do z-buffering). That being said, I don't thin it precludes an emulator from using the GPU in the host computer to speed things up or filter the graphics, similar to how the original PSX graphics can have bi-linear filtering applied. -
Good old lithium - keeping printers, disk drives, and crazies silent for years

Already a good sign that PS5 will whoop ass this generation, as it did last generation, since only thing people can complain about is how the case looks (not the games it plays)

Congrats! That fuji looks very nice.

CTRL + SHIFT won't register by themselves - they need pressed with another key. Keep in mind, many SHIFT+CTRL+Key combos will not work. I am not sure if break ever registers in the KB test. In BASIC, the key is easy to test. Pressing it should just advance the cursor to the next line without doing anything.

Wasn't too long ago I listened to Thriller again. What a masterfully recorded album that was. Such a shame about his later issues in life, he really was a talented kid.

Oh wow - I did not know that (never used the imaging tool). Thanks for the tip.

Not to state the obvious - but in addition to the version number, there is also a build date stamped with each version.
-
No idea how that works, but very cool!

Not fair - I thought that was a Rasta: Stephen_MartyFeldman.xex

The sweetest thing my (now) wife did, was highlight EVERY dot in the infamous "fuck the colour blind" t-shirt so I could read what everyone was laughing at.
-
Thanks - I will say that I am quite severely colour-blind so I can never be sure of what I am seeing on stuff like this.

No - 4.49c was a beta version, 4.49 is the official release.

How is the logo so white? On PAL, the output looks like:

Dumb question - how do you punch an extra hole in the disk jacket without also punching through the inner disk, thereby ruining the indexing? I notched all the write protect tabs on my disks, but the disk was not in that area. Did you have to remove the disk from the jacket, punch the extra index hole, then put the disk back in?
-
Didn't it also write data on the backside "backwards" - meaning it couldn't just be flipped over in a single sided drive like 1050 (even if 1050 was capable of reading a double density disk)?
-
HA - I'm sure you'll get TONS of suggestions on what you're doing wrong

I've heard that they are drones the reason they always sit on the power lines is to recharge their batteries

Text Highlighting (selector) question
Stephen replied to Stephen's topic in Atari 5200 / 8-bit Programming
Ver 0.13 - 6/09/2020 - Added bounds to the file selector to keep cursor in range - Added selected file # and total # files to status bar - Changed About to Info in the status bar -
Neat idea - please let us know if you get a working solution.

Have just read in June 2020's Retro Gamer magazine

Here's a 16kB BIN from a 1987 Daytona turbo. That vehicle used a 6803CPU, I believe in 1988 the engine control computer upgraded to a faster 6809. 87_22_t1_864.BIN
