If you want a good book about the Famicom, I'd suggest Family Computer: 1983-1994 made by the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography. It has short descriptions, high-quality photos, and original prices of every officially released Famicom game, and on top of that, it has interviews with some of the most well-known people in the Japanese game industry at the time, from Shigeru Miyamoto to Kouichi Nakamura and everything in between. And the best part? It's in both Japanese and English.
