I still think "Super Nintendo" is one of the dumbest names for a console. In Japan the NES was called the "Famicom". So, when the "Super Famicom" came out it made sense in my mind. Nintendo Super Famicom sounds pretty good. But here in the US. the prior console was the Nintendo Entertainment System (or NES). So we got the Super NES (Super Nintendo Entertainment System)...or what is known as the "Super Nintendo"...but it just sounds dumber than Super Famicom to me...dunno why.

I used the Famicom 3D goggles for the first time today. The fact that it actually kinda worked is impressive.

If you were an Atari game, which one would you be?

I'm trying to read the script for the Seinfeld pilot (don't ask), and the website looks like it was last updated like 12 years ago. Do people not seek out Seinfeld scripts online for recreational reading?
-
I'm not sure if it's the "Pilot" Pilot, but they say the episode was released in 1989 so I'm positive its the real Pilot.
Here's the site where the script (or transcript, it doesn't look like a script to me, maybe it was reformatted?) is: https://www.seinfeldscripts.com/TheSeinfeldChronicles.htm

Nah, I'm nearing 15, I just put "2000" in my name to replicate the trend of things having "2000" in the title at the turn of the century. I got into classic games through YouTube, as my mother never really played games (She had an Atari 2600 and a Sega Master System, but they didn't get much play).
The original post was a reference to a stream of A.I. Dungeon I was watching and I said those words to myself during a part where the streamer was stuck in a death loop. But it can also be a reference to the world right now.

DBZ is fun to go back to, at least the Raditz, Saiyan, and Frieza sagas. The Cell and Buu sagas, on the other hand, tried too hard and were a complete bore.

Am I the only one that doesn't mind Jar-Jar? He's just C3P-O without R2D2.

If you could go to sleep tonight and wake up in any year; which would it be and why? Pick an age, retain your current memories.

If I could come back, the late 1800s.
Reason: I'm super into lost media, so I would go around with my wealth (household annual earnings aren't upper class, but in the late 19th century, I'd be Jeff Bezos) and buy up pristine copies of film prints, may stay until the release of King King and then go to the future and digitize and preserve them.
If I have to stay, 80s without a doubt.

So, no looking it up or posting the answer: How many know what the SD is SD card stands for?
I had to finally look it up.

I don't get why they're bothering to dub Yakuza like a dragon, I don't think a dub is enough to bring in people that aren't interested and I don't think fans of Yakuza are the type of people that want a dub. But as long as they don't drop the original Japanese dub it isn't a big deal.

I was paying Commando on the NES, and it was so unstable, it felt like it was going to fold itself out of existence.

I'm repeating myself, but no matter how much time passes, the universal truth still remains that the less you understand about technology, the easier it is.
