  1. According to science, Chickens, as well as ostriches, are closely related to the Tyrannosaurus Rex. And since Ostrich eggs are basically just really big Chicken eggs, it's safe to assume that Ostrich meat tastes like Chicken. Therefore, is it safe to say that T-Rex meat also tasted like Chicken?

Well, Mary Schweitzer found soft T.Rex tissue. Perhaps she and her lab.staff enjoyed a good fried and spiced T.Rex in secret...?

I have not tried making Nintendo broth lately.  The last time I did, I mixed it with SEGA noodles and it turned out poorly.

Yup, a good third of their first album is video game music. :)

  6. There's an increasing number of users who are using the "Buy, Sell, Trade" section of the forum for wanted posts, despite there being not only a subforum right under the buy, sell, trade subforum, but also a pinned post saying NOT to post wanted posts in the buy, sell, trade subforum.  Don't do this please.

Wanting something is usually the first step in Buy, Sell, or Trade. Makes total sense and it isn't going to change.

@masschamber Actually the NES port of Commando was done by Capcom themselves, it was the first NES/Famicom game they programmed in-house.

What is AVGN calling himself now?

    3. Magmavision2000

      Magmavision2000

AVGN, but he was originally called the Angry Nintendo Nerd, but when he started reviewing 2600 games, he changed it so it would be broader

IMO, TOS and TNG are pretty worthwhile.  I'm still getting through all of TOS...There's also some fun to be had in each of the other series,  but I'm no expert.

    3. jaybird3rd

      jaybird3rd

I second that recommendation, TOS and TNG are well worth looking into.  In numerous places, you'll find "Top 10" lists for both series, so if you don't want to commit to watching every single episode, use these lists as a guide.  You should see the first six Trek movies as well, but in my opinion you'll appreciate them better if you watch them only *after* finishing TOS.

TNG took longer to "gel" as a series, so the first two seasons get a bad rap, but there are gems to be found there as well.  I'll recommend nine episodes from both seasons to help you steer clear of the dross.  From S1, check out the two-part pilot "Encounter at Farpoint", then "Where No One Has Gone Before," "The Big Goodbye," "Datalore," "11001001," "Home Soil," "Heart of Glory," "Skin of Evil," and "The Neutral Zone."  From S2, check out "The Child," "Elementary, Dear Data," "Samaritan Snare," "The Measure of a Man," "Contagion," "Time Squared," "Pen Pals," "Q Who," and "Peak Performance."  S3 on is pretty solid, with a few exceptions, though the four TNG movies were IMHO a disappointment.

A potent combination is hot dogs and cake frosting. They come out wet and that smell takes eons to completely dissipate.

  20. Is price charting even worth it anymore? I just look at the game on eBay and get the cheapest one.

  21. I don't know if it's because my 3DS is modded, or if it's just a feature I didn't know existed, but when I boot up a game and then go to the Internet app, it has the game name in the search engine.

  25. I just saw a short clip of a recent episode of SpongeBob and the animation looked like it was from a YouTube parody. Everything was squishy, fast, and the characters looked nothing like what they used to. Is this what happens when you let a show go on for 20+ years?
