Hands down Return of the Jedi Death Star Batlle. Any game where you play as lando shooting through a 1980s grid forcefield with weird Atari sounds is weird to me

Was that Tank for 58.95 with the wired Atari joysticks ever sold? It looks like a VCS prototype or something.
To my knowledge the tank console never released.

If the machine is broken down and on its last legs, I don't care what happens to it. If the machine is in perfect working condition and was made in the 70s, no. Just no.

Does anyone on Atariage know when Othello was released
-
For those who don't know, Heavyweight Champ is a 1976 boxing game released by Sega and is considered to be the first fighting game ever made, but unfortunately it didn't do to well in the arcades and fell into obscurity when the 1987 remake came out. All that exists of the game now is a Japanese game flyer and a recent picture of a cabinet which sadly looks like this:
Do any of you guy and gals on Atariage know about this or by some chance have any memories of this game?
EDIT: I forgot to add the lost media wiki post [url="https://www.lostmediawiki.com/Heavyweight_Champ_(lost_SEGA_arcade_boxing_game;_1976)"

Was it 1983/1984 severe or was it just a burnout?
-
Thanks for the links my man :-)Which version?
I know senntient.com had some of the developer art at one time: https://web.archive.org/web/20090221025535/http://www.senntient.com/projects/xtreme/sxc The website re-directs to a card game site today.
Ah-ha! An early copy has been released, but it only works on newer PCs: http://www.tssznews.com/2015/02/23/playable-build-of-sonic-x-treme-out-now/
Someone got it to work on the Saturn: http://www.retrocollect.com/News/unreleased-sonic-xtreme-now-playable-on-sega-saturn.html

I'm basing the question on the possible amount of Atari games nobody knows about at all, I'm not talking about games like Birthday Mania and Extra Terrestrials.Just curious: what are you basing this on?
-
I've had this thought in my mind for sometime and I'm curious on what you guys and gals on Atariage think?
I believe there's probably like 150-200 lost or unknown Atari 2600 games out in the wild.
-
I know it's not an Atari proto but I'm curious if it's ever been dumped and if it's playable on a modded Sega saturn
-
I know it's been 4 years but has there been any updates?
-
QUICK UPDATE
I've decided to boost my "Deadline" for getting these pong systems to there 50th anniversary due to money problems getting into the way of things, I think I'll be able to get the cheap ones like video pinball and super pong by the end of the year and the expensive and rare ones throughout next couple of years. I'll be posting updates and questions on the pong consoles on this thread so stay tuned.
-
The thing that surprises me the most about the 2600 is the number of unreleased games and console variations. also the short time it co-existed with the super Nintendo and sega genesis/Megadrive is surprising.

Fun fact, the pong consoles that used "rainbow" gradients had their timing crystals deliberately skewed slightly off from standard ntsc color frequency. They imparted a square wave overlay on top of the video signal which caused a "rainbow" effect on color tvs. Since the offset of the wave determines the color hue produced onscreen, the fact it did not match the timing crystal inside the tv caused a gradual color change from one side of the screen to the other.
I would imagine most modern hdtv flat panels would not process this off spec colorburst signal correctly. You may end up with fine pitch grayscale jailbars if you get anything at all. My 4k TCL hdtv did this when I loaded Air Raid from my Harmony cart (possibly it expected a PAL colorburst? Air Raid has way too many scanlines, 290, such that many ntsc tube tvs without a vhold adjustment will actually screen roll).
Cool! I didn't know that!

It just denotes that there is no known Atari equivalent.
Oh ok. also another thing I would like to ask is how hard are these consoles to repair?
-
Does your system have a channel switch on bottom? I noticed you're on ch 2. There's a bunch of L6ers that use only ch 3, like mine.
I actually had it on channel 3 before switching it to channel 2, my VCR doesn't show the channel number after 10 seconds

Seven: Pong, Super Pong, Super Pong Ten, Super Pong Pro-Am, Super Pong Pro-Am Ten, Ultra Pong, and Ultra Pong Doubles.
There's a handy chart at the bottom that tells what systems' Sears equivalents are.
whats the ? one?
-
Also how many Atari pong consoles were released?

There's no way AC can leak inductively down the 7805. And no way to get 125V DC from a 9V/1A AC adapter.
Did you mean 5V DC after the 7805 and 125V AC from the mains? If so, then the main step is to check the solders and reseat the 6507, RIOT and TIA. Use an antistatic wristband or at least periodically ground yourself before / while handling the circuit.
yes

okay, so I've hooked it up to a multimeter and here's what I got: AC 5.2 and DC 125.2
-
here's the video detailing the symptom:
it just simply will not turn on
-
alright, so first off sorry if I came off as rude. second, I'll post a video on my channel tonight to show you guys the symptoms.
have a great Saturday and God bless
I have a question about selling imports...
in Classic Console Discussion

Let's say i bought a video game lot from Japan and it contains Japanese games, would I be able to sell this lot in america? or would I need some sort of import license to sell them?
