    I've gotta (partially) retract what I said. From the little research that I did, I could only find one advertisement that looked similar to your arcade stick. Even though the ad is low quality, I can kind of make out the Sega and Super Nintendo font (no symbol though). So you either have a very rare variant, or you have a prototype*. Where did you get this? *I am not an expert on this stuff.

      To me, its for kids as far as the gift giving aspect is concerned. I like to give a gift to a kid that will appreciate it, not for the over-indulged. Otherwise its just a day off of work for me.

      Yeah, I like the Christmas season, but I've been working so much lately and it's been such a long and stressful fall it feels like the holiday is almost here and I haven't really had a chance to soak in the spirit at all.  It'll be over before I get a chance to take it in.

      The first year Christmas lost it's magic for me was 8th grade.  I got everything I wanted but the holiday was a big letdown.

       

      Luckily I got to go to Florida with my best friend and his dad.  That was fun.  I think we left the day after Christmas.

    Vectrex. There was literally nothing like it. This one's cheating, but if it were released, Nintendo's "Project Atlantis" would've been the most powerful handheld from it's release to the DS.

    I would like to know what type of "specs" (e.g. screen size, brand, curved screen or flat screen) I should consider when hunting for a CRT.

    For those who don't know, Verdun is a WW1 themed FPS game that puts you in the trenches as either an Entente or Central Powers soldier. It's slow-paced and (mostly) historically accurate, with you and four other squads attacking and defending trenches. The game has been under the radar, but I was wondering if anyone here plays it.

      Kind of weird to see "The Twenties" used for the Future...
      (Ur right though)...I mean 70's, 80's, 90's All made sense...I never heard anyone use "The Oughts" outside of someone on a Business Channel...The "10's" got a tiny amount of press,  but then people would just say After 2000 or maybe state a year...

    I agree. Hopefully Japan will get some extra games in the following months.

    The Famicom app has gotten: Route 16 (ルート16) and Famicom Wars (ファミコン戦争). The NES app has gotten: Crystalis and Journey to Silius. The SNES app has gotten: Joe and Mac 2: Lost in the Tropics, Super Punchout!!, Breath of Fire 2, Kirby Superstar and Starfox 2. The SFC app only got Starfox 2 and Kirby Superstar.
