  1. I have a bunch of KOEI and RPG's for genesis (8 or 9) that would "ebay" close to $200. Anyone at all interested?
  2. Oh, you know I was only kidding. I'm hardly ever serious. Yeah, people usually laugh at me when I say I collect old video games... Oh well, I don't care.. Oh, my avatar... I've been trying to get a cool one for a while. That one has to work for a while because I gave the camera back to my buddy...
  3. Whoa, hold up there Indiana man.... I'm a huge Terry Bradshaw guy. What he says is gospel. Him and any other guy wearing the black and gold...
  4. Damn, you all know I'm too lazy to read all the posts before I reply... So it was all a womans' spite? ... Hell, tell her your games don't cost as much as the cashola she forks out to have the mop on her head fixed every two weeks. Or the $20 dropped on the manicure joint... I've been through this before, can you tell....
  5. hmmm, I don't quite know how to take that. I guess I will always be a child at heart. Just don't take life too seriously. Things in life are more important than games, true. But you have to have a hobby, something you can do for fun. Take it easy dude... are you having mid life crisis? I think I had one last year but I drank a whole lot of beer and it seemed to go away. ahhh, got my games, got my beer, what else is there?
  6. My collection is rather lame but it's kind of diverse. I guess I got about 50 atari 2600 games. I know where there are about 100 more around town but I'm not spending $3 a piece on commons. I got ataris, intellivision, colecovision, old computers and games for all of them. I just got on an 8 bit kick when my neighbor moved out and gave me a boxed atari 800 with a disk drive and other stuff.....
  7. Anybody got a hook up with computer hardware? I am especially interested in a video capture card, new AT/ATX case and 30 GB hard drive.
  8. HERO Chuck Norris Superkicks Pigs in space
  9. What adapter? I have a 2600 adpater but if you're playing Wargames it couldn't be that one....
  10. My 800 boots up to a "notepad" looking thing. I can type all the characters on the keyboard. My sound and graphics programming book says it will boot up to a "Ready ?" prompt. I have no periferals hooked up to it right now. How do I get my "Ready ?"?
  11. I stubled acroos one of those Clue games for your VCR from the '80's the other day too. Same guy that want's $5 for a Odyssey 2 cart..
  12. I saw one of these at a local flea market for months and months and months. Probably still there in the same place....
  13. You would use that connector for hooking it up to a composite or S-Video monitor. There should be a standard RF output via a RCA jack near it. Mitchhttp://atari7800.atari.org Yeah, this just in.... I'm an idiot. There's a big, long cable sticking out of the back of it with an RCA connector right on it that will plug into any of the three or four TV/GAME switches I got laying around. . I don't know how I could have missed it. Duh....
  14. Strange. There's a connector labeled "monitor" that resembles an old DIN sized keyboard connector. I thought that was what I had to plug in to.
  15. Small problem. The Atari 8 bit computer I got a few days ago has no RF/TV switch. I assumed it was the regular "cheapo" at Radio Shack. I looked at the connector and I know I've seen it before, either on my TRS-80 or VIC-20. Are they interchangable?
  16. Hmmmm , I'm usually all for "radical extremist" stuff but I generally don't make a habit of telling anyone that I have the slightest bit of knowledge of classic games. I found that's the fastest way to get the price jacked up on me. I may check it out. I could be a member incogneto. The original....... (see sig)
  17. Thanks for the info, I hope I get to use it soon.....
  18. Flatuance? Well, I think Old Spice is good. My wife likes when I wear Brut...

  20. Here's my 10 cents (cause my 2 cents is free). I own both also but I don't get to play them much. They may need a good cleaning after that "roach incident" a while back too. But I will say the two port has the ease of hook up. My 4 port switchbox sometimes doesn't get plugged in to the switchbox all the way and "snaps on and off." But the two port will also not play certain games (can never remember which ones). So it's a toss up as far as I'm concerned. I'm glad I got both. I just hate those controllers though.
  21. Oh boy... Give me a bit while I eat........ I'll post them.....
  22. whew!.... I was hoping that topic wan't literal......
  23. Actually it is a: Percom AT88-S1 PD SS SD/DD, printer port, master I had to look the stuff up on the 8 bit faq since I'm unfamiliar with atari 8 bits. I also got a "Sound and Graphics" guide that goes through programming steps. I just hope I can find time to mess with it....
