I'm lost... As far as I am aware, neither GDG nor BC Electronics have any licencing agreement with the developers. How is buying an unlicenced copy from a vendor any different than burning a download? Then they can get in trouble for selling it to you.

Thank you, I love making boxes....sometimes I get carried away like with Soul Star. I have this condition where I cannot have a game (unrealesed/proto/homebrew.....hell even hardware,) without it having a real box and such for it. So everytime I recieve a homeless game, I have too create something for it. Its fun..time consuming...stress releiver "sorta of", but I cant help it. I just have not found a way to produce them cheap or easy for mass release. I fear that I never will. I dont feel right to have to charge a arm and leg to make these. If a cheap fast process ever shows its head, Im there!. My main problem most of the time is overdoing the construction process which is not helping the situation like my Enigma Machine book box.

You shouldnt burn it...thats wrong. But you can buy a copy..not fixed from Good Deal Games or BC electronics still I think. Its a awesome game. Same control found on SCD. Just alittle better looking. I still have all my box / case / label / # pad art from 3-4 years ago ready for it if there is a release. I really love this game. By nonner242 at 2008-07-05

I beg to differ. Warrior will be the greatest ever. Is Warrior actually being worked on for the Vectrex? Its done...shipping in October! Cant wait for either of these.

Not with a paddle & joystick holder! You would need a joystick with trigger on the stick, so a standard Atari stick will not work. Also you would need to use a driving controller not paddles. I think it would be cool if it happened but I just don't see it happening. Mitch Naw, All we really need is that PS2 to Atari controller mod that is being worked on, thats all. Anyways if it was ever seriously being considered other than me, Im sure there would be something worked out for it. Never say Never!

I've been thinking about this list. The only ones I see as being a problem would be AVP and Assault. If you did AVP in Wolfenstein style (ray cast engine) you could use MARIA's horizontal line drawing ability to good effect, however that would leave you with single colour walls. If you did it as the side scrolling beat-em up then you'd need a good artist on board the project to render the aliens and heroes in 3 colour palettes. The game might also benefit from being done in an isometric style too. For Assault you'd have to rotate the tank and not all the background graphics. When the tank is hovering you'd also have to overcome the scaled graphics with a good play mechanism too. Yes Mark the AVP beat em up! I dont see it as a problem at all. Its basically Double Dragon/Final Fight with different characters. Can you imagine the amout of Aliens you can throw on screen! Keeping the sprites small of course. As for any of these game including Assualt I was not particulary talking about just the 7800 for them. It could be any system. Like Assualt on the Jaguar...oh AVP would be perfect for the Jag too. Tron & Krull on the 7800 seem like a perfect fit. Im up for the challenge on any of these titles if anyone would ever want to help...

No you wouldnt need the XM for the voice. 7800 can do that fine with out it. But since the arcade was a vector game Im affraid it would never look quite as nice with the 7800 resolution. Not saying it would look bad..just abit more blocky. Im a big fan of this game too, but really we should push the limits of the system especially with the XM comming out with something on the likes of a new RType or Gradius styled shooter. Something that has not been see before is my motto. Time for some true new homebrews and not just all ports of stuff thats on 2,3 other system. Not saying ports are bad, but if you do a port Id rather see games from the arcade that never had a proper home version. I said it before and will say it again...Tron,Major Havok,Krull,Speed Rumbler,AVP,Assualt.....and the list goes on.

Anybody here order the Genesis Pier Solar from day one? If you did were you really ever concered if you read the update page? And guess what we got it...far off from the original date but, we got it. It had some major delays too. I waited and checked its status/update page and knew almost every 2 weeks what was doing on, so I never really worried or had nothing to wonder about because the always had a explained, posted pictures or video of it progress or pitfalls. There was alwas some communication from the team. They even responed to emails pretty fast. I even had a address change, all went smooth. And if the Water Melon team ever release another title I wouldnt care if it took 2 years longer for the product, I feel that confortable and safe with them that i know they will come thru. Why good follow thru. And this was not a company...this was just abunch of ppl from the gaming community around the world working on this project. Ireally still cannot believe that it ever happed. And came out so beautiful to boot. Im sure Curt has a million thing on his "Life Plate" and I have no doubt thatthe XMt will come out great. But ppl just have to remember that its just a homebrew, its done when its done. But the Homebrewer has to remember, that you should be aware that ppl have put faith and money into you and the project too, and that you should take the time at least once a month, if not more (due to a unfortunate delay or bug) to keep them in the" know". Its hard to guess whats going on if your blind & deaf. As for me, yeah Im pretty excited about the XM. And yes I been wondering whats up here and there with the status. But I wait...... Just like I have many times before. And guess what? I will be very happy boy later this year.

Its high points as a systems are: A really nice full function+ DVD player A really nice VLM "Virtual Light Machine like the Jaguar..same ppl did it. VLM 2.0 Iron Soldier 3 Tempest 3000 And afew neat homebrews.

Geats of War 3 Im not a Gears fan, I have the older games and beat them but was not much into them. Multiplayer didnt last long for me on either. But this Third installment is Excellent. So much stuff to do and unlock. Great Graphics constantly running ever so smooth. And the Multiplayer is a total Blast! Im going to be addicted to Horde & Beast mode when I get more free time. Got nothing bad to say so far....which is Amazing for me.

I have been waiting for this game since I caught wind of it afew months ago. I wish we had arcades in OHIO like we once did. Now ppl call those ticket machines arcade games...Blah.

Yep same for me in the Cleveland/Mentor/Medina area. '93/94" Had bins of games. Ace of Aces Solaris Dark chambers Secret Quest Jinx Tower Toppler ect.... There was no rarer games like Planet Smashers or Moto Psycho and like Ax said, no systems.
