  1. Anyone got any recommendations for good shows on Netflix ?

I don't mind if they are not on UK Netflix yet, I'll make a note to look out for them.

I was on Netflix a lot when The Good Place was going, and I found a whole bunch of things to watch, but now, aside from a few documentaries and some stand up specials I am struggling to find things to watch.

I could do with a day of just sitting about watching something either classy or funny or both.

Thanks in advance for any recommendations

      I've no issue with subtitles.

Some of my favourite films are foreign language films, there's La Haine, The Infernal Affairs Trilogy, Akira, Ghost in the Shell, The Page Turner, The Seventh Seal, Three Colours Red, A Pesar De Todo is fairly new and I like.

Yeah we don't have that meaning, we would probably say you fucked it up or more family friendly 'cocked it up', 'botched it'.

We wouldn't have that, we'd have to have something that told us it was cooking and told us it was about failure, though we love Great British Bake Off, we don't tend to focus shows around failure. Kitchen Nightmares maybe but I think that originated in the US.

A lot of cock-ups go on in the GBBO tent, but I think we prefer when people manage to 'pull it off' so to speak.

more often than not it is used more on the jokingly side of things when there is a funny, or unexpected, outcome of the job/task being done.

The show is all in good fun.  The contestants are all in on fun.  The show certainly isn't about ridiculing the contestants.

The show has moved to France, Spain, Mexico, Germany, etc.

There is a big difference between GBBO and Nailed It.  Completely two different shows.

      I like both shows.

Also on Netflix they have a bunch of the GBBO Master Class shows all bundled together.  Love these, too.
