Ah. PC sadly. I say sadly, that's where potential money is. Though I do love the retro systems very much.

Agreed!  Wife and I are hoping to be able to plan our next vacation without any of those concerns!!  Although, our next good trip will probably be another couple of years, as we got back from the last one just before Christmas last year.  And we did stop at London on our way at our favorite hotel right by Borough  Market, which was awesome again (we've been overseas twice in our life, and stayed at that same hotel both times we were in London).  Well, it was awesome except that one day, on our first "Tube" trip in London on the way back to our hotel, we couldn't stop at our stop.  An "event" had happened and we had to go past and figure out how to walk back, and a lot of the area was blocked off.   Yep, we were there that day.  Still, we love that area and will be back when we can...

One of the most fun and frustrating things in Wikipedia is the fact that most pages about video games, comic books, movies or series contain just plain spoilers of the plot that are often 5 pages long without even being added to a "Plot" section (as if they happened in real life!),while simultaneously lacking interesting details (and sometimes basic, real life information) about the product.

Modern comic books and RPG games are the worse in this regard.

The hate I've encountered for Wikipedia over the last 10-15 years is unwarranted.  Does it have flaws?  Yes.  Could it be better run?  Yes.

There also happens to be a fuck ton of accurate information on there.  That fact always seems to go unnoticed to the people who choose to shit on it.  A website is either highly reputable or a hot mess to them, it seems.

No, it is true there is good stuff too. I use it every day for Football info.

The problem is that all credibility is lost when the bogus info or people's opinions sit on there for years and does not get removed or fixed or updated.

There is a whole list of 'hoaxes' that have run for years.

 If they bothered to do it properly, with proper review by professionals or educators then it would be marvellous. As it is it is a wild west and whoever wins wins an 'edit war of attrition'.

Saw a documentary once. American 'Footballers' played Rugby, the game it sprang from. The Rugby players from England went over and had a great laugh. The US lot thought it was crazy that the 'Brits didn't have any protection.

I'm a lifelong guitar player, tbh never was really an EVH fan, tho I respected him, but it was when I started playing keyboards some that I really appreciated what Eddie did, then I liked the guitar stuff more.

He(Wolf)was playing bass for Tremonti regularly then.

Yeah, Wolfie became their regular Bassist until he was 'drafted' into Van Helen full time. Pretty good Drummer as well I heard.

I've always loved Van Halen the band and Eddie's impact on me as a fan of guitar and as a guitar player has been huge.
