I used to have an Amiga joystick, it had 3 buttons and little triangular ones as well. Needless to say, you only needed the one and you only effectively got the one as well.

The latest Atari related thing I got on ebay was Bounty Bob Strikes Back cart. I've never liked the 2600 joystick. Hated mine as a kid. I'll be looking for a decent joystick.

People I really care for are being affected by the crisis in significant, life changing ways and everything else is put into sharp contrast. I came to a conclusion the other week that I don't actually hate K enough to do anything, to go after him in any meaningful way. I hate homophobia, misogyny and bullying and I thought it was really bad what happened with ROM. He's not unique. But he's still a massive cunt. People who share their lives on-line, be they celebrities or random whoevers are putting themselves at risk of all kinds of shit. Over exposure is a very dangerous thing. The post Big Brother (TV show), people think being well known is a career in itself is a nonsense. People used to be well known and respected for being good at things. That was the only benchmark. Also like to point out that, in contrast to my previous 'young people' comments, the people in question are full grown women, who, have experienced a life before Twitter and Facebook. There are no Ingénues here. Social Media giants Twitter & Facebook do nothing to curb the situation, after all, blood money always pays. I’ll be judged on the quality of my games or other creative work. Nothing else. K I *could write a Bot that could check and find all Plagiarism in his books. It would take a day of my time, tops. I *could report all the images he has used in his books that are owned by others under copyright. I *could drop an information bomb of all the stuff I gathered when I was suffering from corona myself and looking for distractions. I have no motivation to do so, inertia has set in. This thread was a distraction. It isn’t anymore. I tried to leave Facebook for good at least 3 times. I was successful in the end. I have tried and failed to leave this thread. I will be successful now. Door is closed. Just heard a podcast... Stop quoting me you shitehouse! NB: Even if I don't agree with people's life choices, they are 100% in their right to do what they like, online or offline. To paraphrase Bob Marley, "Every person has a right to decide their own destiny and in that judgment there is, no partiality." And that is my last thought on the matter.

Fuck no. All this DMs business, it’s a direct communication with anybody. Scary stuff ! Games and game programming were a Godsend, to me, and that's what I am in the scene for, games. I do not, have not and will not condone any form of bullying. My pull the plug comments were, were they not prefixed by “If it all gets too much” - Worst case scenario. If you feel it is so bad that it is making you ill. Go ahead, save yourself. Switch it off, pull the plug. Go have a bath, make something nice to eat. Start reading a new book. Go sit in the garden and read. Listen to the radio or get out your guitar. I know how it can affect people as well, again though my own experiences (younger relatives who have had issues like that). When I pulled the plug from Facebook, the only social media I ever had, a whole bunch of dark clouds cleared away and I remembered who I was again. All the news, all the constant talk of Brexit. All the negativity!! I don’t like the way the Social Media companies exploit the pain and suffering of their users and fail to act on reports of bullying, abuse or posting of inflammatory or evil material. As a coder I know it would be incredibly simple for twitter to reject all posts containing racism, misogyny, hatred and intolerance and by doing so would shut down 95% of it in one go; but they choose to allow it just like Facebook does. This is a HUGE part of the problem, by not tackling this stuff, they are effectively enabling and endorsing the behaviour of their users. Back to specifics. If you are wondering, yes it does rile me when the boy blunder quotes me, but they are my opinions all the same (the ones he hasn’t taken out of context, at least). I don't care if anyone agrees. That is my right of opinion.

The easiest way to get away from it all, of course is to simply shut down social media accounts. People can only bully you digitally if you allow them to. I feel for kids these days. They are so wired into all of it that they don't take the time to stand back and remove themselves from all the drama. They can just switch it all off. Unplug it. Replace the sim card. Change their email. Instantly it all goes away, but people are addicted to the social media, which for a lot of people in vulnerable groups can be a very dangerous double edger. They share so very much of their lives and so openly that they expose themselves to the digital predators. They are so desperate for likes and false reassurance of how brilliant they are which gives them a false sense of direction and fulfilment in their lives that they get caught up in it all so obsessively it becomes unhealthy. If it all gets too much, log out, shut it down. Take some time off from this false half life online and try to enjoy your real life. NB: NOT directed at anyone, just my observations on the cult of social media.

I don't know if you mean by that you are not comfortable with my post or his behaviour. I know 100% he is not autistic and by saying that I mean absolutely no slight on those that are. I know people who are autistic and some are friends. You get points for Ninja Warriors and Operation Wolf but no place for Karnov or Victory Road for me. Pair of stinkers. No Smash TV. Mercs might be up your street. As may be Ninja Princess and indeed Ninja Spirit. Another dud spotted Shadow Warriors which looks quite good but plays like a dog. No Commando ? If you're into the 1941/2 you should really check out the wonderful Loop Master.

Cool. Nice! I did my Desert Island Disks. I've got 10 all time favourite games for various systems. Boulder Dash isn't in the top 20 but it probably breaks the top 50.

Hello! I think how it must work is in a similar way to the various discovered/invented modes for the Commodore 64, which allowed these magnificent images... Far more colour that was ever expected of the machine. Um. Saying that, I have no reference to what you mean? Could someone post a couple of example images for me ? I'd love to see some. Ah I see that has the air of truth about it! Can imagine how it went viral in the wrong way. Yeah. This makes perfect sense, though I'd argue my modded xboxes are ok as in the vast majority of cases you can't buy those versions anymore or the systems they ran on anymore - It used to be quite gray. They say that you can only infringe on someone's rights if they have intent or are currently selling the games in question. It's a matter of what it cost the company, though the hammer has come down now, now that the major players have smelt the sweet smell of cash! So I buy the retro mini systems as a trade off to my far better implementation with decent emulators. I also owned and own a lot of the games in the same format as I play them on Emu.
